Just to give you a little background. I have been a skateboarder for 15 years. I am also a technology enthusiast. I am the Directory of IT for my company, so it's not just for pleasure. The first electric skateboard type item I purchased was the OneWheel. I was blown away with how well built it was. I probably ride it five days a week. You can take this thing anywhere without worrying about it breaking down or falling apart. After purchasing that online I had a lot of faith in all these new electric skateboards. The next thing I purchased was the LeifTech eSnowboard. After spenind more on this than the OneWheel, I was expecting at least the same quality. I understood it might take awhile to get the hang of it but I was more than willing to put in the effort. When it finally arrived I rushed home to unpack it. The first thing I noticed was the remote. It was made out of cheap plastic and felt like the remote to a $5 chinese RC car you got as some kind of gag gift. The charging port on it felt like it would break off and fall into the remote. Then I took the board out. The same crappy plastic used on the remote was used to hold the battery in place. This plastic is very easy to scratch and break. I'm not sure how I overlooked this but the motor is belt driven instead of brush-less, like every other electric board in this price range. Not only that but the week is on a 360 degree rotating plate, but the wheel hang out on the side with nothing to support it. Looking at this you have to understand that all of your weight is going to be coming down on this small hard wheel that has almost no support. At very least it will bend. Another thing is the wheel itself. It's about half the size of a normal skateboard wheel. There are two of them. One on each end of the board. These are the only wheels that are powered. Not only is it hard to keep these wheels with enough pressure to get the board moving without it skidding out but if you hit ANYTHING at all you will come to a dead stop. Think how many times you hit things on a skateboard and came to a stop. This is much smaller than that. There isn't a single thing on this that I would say is quality. It's the worst buy I've ever purchased. But that's not the worst part. I knew immediately that I was going to return it and get another OneWheel for my girlfriend. I put it back in the box and shipped it back to them because that's what the return policy said to do. As soon as I did that I sent them the tracking number. When I sent this to them they sounded upset that I had already shipped it back. Like they wanted to talk me out of it. I'm pretty sure that this has happened to them quit often. So they received it a few days later. They send me an email saying board had been used and they do not accept returns on used boards. Keep in mind this board had never been all the way out of the box. Much less ridden outdoors. I replied with an email telling them I didn't even have the board for 5 hours before putting it back in the mail. They never responded to any of my emails. Never returned my money. Also I didn't see the board get returned to me for 2 months. So they just kept it, along with my money for 2 months without saying a single thing to me. I feel like the entire process was a cheat. They know they have a crappy product and they want to get them sold ASAP and then cut ties. They know they wont be in business for long and they have no way to return your money. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!! If you really want something fun to ride, go get a OneWheel. I guarantee it will last you and be way more fun than this piece of trash ever will.Save yourself a headache and do not give these scammers your business. Seeing that it is one of a kind there is no other place to buy a board quite like this and living in Miami this is the only way to snowboard. I had a couple problems setting up the board and syncing it do to my inexperience. I believe his name is Aaron adders helped me on more than one occasion to make sure that I was happy with my purchase. I have never met someone so willing to go out of their way to make sure that a buyer is happy I was able to reach them very quickly and get all of my problems solved.I have had this board for over 8 months and it has worked flawlessly. There are only two minor things that I wish would be fixed one would be that the remote has a loop on it so that it doesn't fall out of my hands and the other I wish that the battery pack cover wasn't made with flimsy plastic either way both of these problems were very easily remedied and I am extremely happy with my purchase. I live in Hawaii. When I bought this board it came with a free battery... SURPRISE!!! They said they could not ship the battery to me in Hawaii. I sent them email saying to just send it to my house in Ohio.... two years later I am still waiting for that battery. And you know what? They will never ship it and I could care less.Second reason to not buy this board: Cheaply made. Do your research. The wheels are thin and they CRACKED within the first one hour. There literally is a chunk out of my rear wheel. Like the other reviews stated, this is driven by only 2 wheels (both in center and belt driven). These wheels crack and do not last more than a ice cream cone in a sealed up car in the dead of summer. Supposedly they are coming out with a different wheel, but good luck replacing them... I actually had to buy a few spare wheels and will ride these ones till they fall off (which will probably be the next time I ride it). Seriously, the wheels are defective. Now the 4 polyurethane wheels are just for carving and if you are riding correctly, they rarely touch the ground. Additionally the battery cover is cheaply made. Has two tabs off that break soooooo easily. You end up having to TAPE the cover onto the board. Just plain DUMB how they made it. Also the controller feels super, super cheap. For the price you pay for this board, you expect it to be a little higher quality. I bought a MEEPO AWD also and that controller is cheaply made, but made this one look like pathetic... Which it is.Can I say anything good about this board? Well the ride is fun. Has a high learning curve but is fun. Would I buy it again...Nope!! But since I have it already I might as well try to love it as much as you can. Sort of like loving Crohns disease, sucks to have it but better make the best of it and not let it bring you down.So Summary: Service is poor, Quality and design is poor. Ride is fun....
