BUNN CSB2GD Speed Brew High Altitude Coffee Maker 10 Cup, Dark charcoal grey

This coffee pot is no frills, not even a clock or timer, but it makes fantastic coffee! I couldn’t find filters meant for it, but I have discovered that it can take pretty much any flat bottomed 8-12 cup filter, or I can use a brass filter from our old Bialetti coffee pot. I prefer the unbleached paper filters; I think the taste is more pure. The coffee brews in about 4 minutes (for 10 cups) and is great! I forgot to mention that the spout is beautifully designed to pour without spilling and there is a grid in the front of the machine making it super easy to fill with water instead of the difficult corner which other machines usually have.

Good and trusty coffee maker for a high altitude brew! We live near Denver, CO. and weren’t getting a good cup of coffee from other coffee makers (even Bunn :( ) the High Altitude version has made a world of difference. It’s FAST, easy to use once you get the hang of it, and dependable. Will buy Bunn again whenever it’s time to replace this one. Read the instructions though, it’s a bit of a weird set up.

Excellent as would be expected from a BUNN product. Brews fast, stays warm. Only negative would be the pot. It is very thin and would break easily on a granite counter. So I bought a back up pot!

Our first Bunn was great, no problems for several years. The functionality of this machine is fine except the lights that show that the burner is on do not work. IT was dim in the beginning and now nothing. We have left the burner on not noticing the light a couple times. Called Bunn and they are happy to not help, first by saying its normal to not be able to see the light, and then once they agree its not correct they want me to pay shipping back to them. So much for the warranty. Of course we are outside of the 90 days with Amazon as well.

This Bunn does the job perfectly. The water tank is kept as close to boiling as possible given the altitude. (Note. Water boils at lower temps the higher you are). When you add fresh water to the unit, the brew starts immediately with water from the hot-tank. If you want two cups of coffee, put in two cups (plus a bit for the soaked coffee grounds) Fastest brew ever. This unit does NOT have a carafe valve so you need to wait until the pot is full, but it's so quick you won't mind at all. Very well made.

LOVE this coffee maker as it brews a flavorful pot of coffee in minutes. However, I am writing this review to let the company and prospective buyers know about the warmer switch. In the classic model, the warmer switch was located on the top of the unit, front and center, and it was easy to see that the burner was ON. This model has the switch at the bottom of the unit, under the carafe and burner. The light on the burner is blue and is not visible easily. We have left the burner on many times, sometimes all day. We usually put our coffee in a thermal carafe after brewing so it does not get an over brewed/burnt flavor, yet keeps the coffee warm. However, some mornings, like this morning, we had more coffee than could fit in the carafe after brewing the second pot, so we turned on the burner to keep the remaining coffee warm. After running errands, I returned home to the burner still on and coffee burned in the bottom of the carafe. UGGGH! This was the last straw and I had to write a review to let others know about this feature that could even be a potential fire hazard. Still love my BUNN, just not this feature. Maybe a different color light would help prevent this problem. Thank you.

So what I like is that its easy to use once you figure it out. What I didn't like were the instructions. So let me save you some trouble, pour the water through several times and make sure you keep the Red and black switch on if you want HOT coffee. ONCE you shut the lid on the pour in section be ready because the coffee is coming out. It keeps the water you started with hot thus the button needs to be on. Dont worry its only about 4.00 a year in electricity.

Bunn is top quality coffee maker. A full pot in about a minute.

Love my Bunn Coffee Pot. Great tasting Coffee brews fast and easy to clean everything I ever wanted in a Coffee Pot and looks great sitting on my Counter.

Purchased this coffee maker Sept.2023, warming plate to keep coffee hot has quit working, what are my options to get it repaired or replaced?
