Updated 1/19/2020This universal is built tough but isn't too bulky. It's limited range compared to open universals but I like that about it. The joint has some friction aswell that aids in getting sockets onto a bolt head. I've put it through some decent abuse on my impact gun aswell and there's no signs it's going to fail anytime soon.Update*I’ve used this universal so much over the last 3 plus years. It’s seen a mix of ratchet and impact duty and it held up until now. The failure was my fault I’d say. I shattered it on some bolts that were stuck and I should have used a 1/2” instead.After the failure I ordered a different pack of 3 of the Neiko brand. The new styles are a larger body and more robust and that’s where I really miss this universal. While this universal is more slender and is why it’s probably a little weaker than the new styles I feel that is one of its greatest benefits. I can get in areas where the new style would be cumbersome.All said and done I had to buy another one of these as I dearly missed it. I highly recommend this universal and it will hold up for years to come if it’s not abused :)

Worked well for all my electric impacts. Snap-on 14.4v and 18v however my nitrocat 1355-XL. Tore it to pieces.. that being said I will be buying a new one.. it'll just stay on my electrics

defintely a light duty item, but hey look at size of it. it will get you out of a bind on accessibility issues but definitely not for impact work, air rachet yes impact no

Made it a year of daily use at the end of a Milwaukee 3/8 impact before it exploded. Longer than I expected it to last.

I am sure these will work just fine for hand use, but not on an impact wrench of any kind.I bought two, and broke two the day they arrived.The small DeWalt 3/8” impact driver walked through these immediately.Go with another brand for universal joints.

Awesome! I am an oil field mechanic, and all of my sockets are grey pneumatic, they have yet to let me down after a few hundred, and hundred hour weeks still going strong. My mac and snap on universal sockets have broken but a grey pneumatic has never let me down. They are also warrantied on the Mac truck so if they do break it's easy to get a new one

not as impressed by this tool as some of their other stuff but it works for now
