Chai Oil Menorah for Candles or Oil for Hanukkah

This is really a nice Menorah. It doesn't look or feel cheap. If you plan on using the skinny Hanukkah candles, though, you will have to melt the wax on the bottom & stick them in because the holders are larger than them. That's exactly what we did and it was fine. Regular tall candles will fit this also, in fact we used a regular tall one for the shamash. The candle holders unscrew for easy cleaning out & cleaning the base. This makes a really nice gift & is priced very reasonably.

We really love our new menorah! The pictures do not do it justice - the menorah has a good weight and the decoration is clean and detailed. It does feels more expensive than the listed price. I also like that the "cups" unscrew because it makes cleaning much easier. We used oil and bought size 11 oil cups, but I think a smaller size would have been better as these tend to lean to the side because they don't fit perfectly. I cannot imagine using candles because I don't know how they would be cleaned out, but maybe foil candle holders would help with that.

Very solid, heavy and well made, however my Hanukkah candles do not fit properly. I have tried 2 different sizes, but neither fit. I really like the detailed design, other than the candle issue, it really is a nice Menorah

Today is the 4th day of Hanukkah and I am using this menorah. I am using it with the prefilled Ohr Oil Candles and it is really brightening up my Hanukkah. It is sturdy and stable and is wonderful with the oil candles, also available on Amazon.

A great chanukiah! Beautiful, solid, easy to clean. I use the slim candles...Use a little Candle Stick-um or Tac around the base of the candles and they won't wobble or lean. Easy to clean and no wax overflow! Have used it for 2 Chankahs now, and still love it. Makes a beautiful gift, also.

Very lovely, well made, but definitely NOT for candles. Smaller than standard tapers, larger than 1/2 inch "slim" tapers. Not even sure if pre-filled oil cups will fit. This was to be a gift for a friend, but might have to find something else as I don't want to cause them grief looking for candles or oil for it, or trying to mess with loose wicks and oil.

Nice weight to this silver-plated menorah. Burns oil ir candles, but no oil wicks were included.

I thought this was very pretty and sent it as a gift. It was returned, however, because it would not fit the standard Channukah candles. Would not recommend, unless the user plans to use oil.
