Professional 72-inch Tripod for All Canon Sony, Nikon, Samsung, Panasonic, Olympus, Fuji, Cameras and Camcorders Review: Best value in a tripod I have ever seen - If you shoot professionally for a living, you probably can afford something much more expensive than this very inexpensive tripod. if you're an amateur or enthusiast photographer on the other hand, and you spent a bunch of money on lenses and you want to save money on a tripod, this might be just what you're looking for. Although it certainly cannot remotely compete with high-end $600 carbon fiber tripods, for the money it's certainly a great deal, and works well. It's relatively stable, can hold the camera in either portrait or landscape mode, and has all the usual pivots in various axes. I'm not sure I'd trust the top release plate with a really heavy camera in a portrait orientation with a great big telephoto on the front of it (not 100% convinced that you wouldn't be putting your camera at dire risk) but aside from that limitation, it's a very good tripod - and it does handle my camera safely in portrait orientation with a medium sized telephoto without making me unduly anxious about losing my camera off the mount. If you are working with a big telephoto, would definitely use a lens collar. Pros: 1) 72 inches tall for a professional height (means you don't have to be stooping over to look at anything) 2) full rotation in standard three axes 3) comes with a nice (albeit cheap) case 4) relatively lightweight 5) reasonable stability for a lightweight tripod 6) decent level detection (don't need that with my camera however) 7) cheap - really cheap Cons: 1) quick release plate might not hold heaviest cameras in portrait orientation with big heavy lens 2) probably doesn't have the greatest stability relative to an hi-end professional tripod 3) rotation in vertical axis is perhaps a little bit stiff and not as smooth as more expensive tripods Review: Great Tripod for the Casual Photographer - As an entry level photographer who just recently purchased a DSLR camera, I began shopping for some of the basic camera accessories, but didn't want to devote too much money toward this newly discovered hobby. I was happy to find this tripod as it is both well made, lightweight, and cost effective. The Aluminum legs of the tripod provide solid and stable footing while the camera mounting area is very adaptable in terms of range of movement. The mounting piece that attaches to the camera screws onto the camera body and simply clicks into place on the tripod. I was impressed by how easily I could take the camera on and off the tripod by flipping a lever, while having no worries in regards to the cameras security while mounted. The Stand includes an air bubble based level that helps to ensure its level and stable, while another nice feature of this product was the bag that comes with it, allowing for easy carrying and storage. My only complaint about this product is that the very top part which allows the camera to move vertically within the range of about a foot is a bit tough to raise and lower (there is a lever you have to crank)and while at the maximum up position, it seems to be a bit flimsy. Overall though, this is a great product.

Great Tripod for the Casual Photographer

Good product, might not be new
SUITABILITY - Intended use is for iPhone and small digital cameras, appears suitable for intended use. TRUTH IN ADVERTISING - Product included 67 inch tripod, carrying case, and cleaning cloth. Tripod and box marked with brand name Digital, not Zeikos, but brand was not an advertised item. All tripod features as advertised. However, dent in center column and slight scuff marks on shoulder of leg (the one with the level bubble) suggest this may not be a New tripod, and the thin nylon case material, while acceptable for a freebie, is not one I associate with a deluxe case. ATTRIBUTES AND APPEARANCE - Tripod design is well thought out, all features operate smoothly. Appearance is good, with the exception of the dent and slight scuffs; however, the dent doesn't seem to affect function, so for the price and given the Seller's return policy, I'll live with it. RELIABILITY, DURABILITY, MAINTAINABILITY - Initial setup and check-out was intuitive and smooth. Too early to tell for sure, but center column dent, and light weight and slight leg flex, give some indication that moderate care may be required during transportation and handling. SUPERIOR FEATURES AND FUNCTIONS - Product price, even with seller's shipping cost, makes for good value. I like the handle and foam grips, even with the light weight of the tripod (a little more than three pounds). I also like the ease of operation of the leg leverlocks. Cleaning cloth seems slightly larger than normal.

Amazing Product
If you are going to purchase a tripod this is the one to buy! PROS: Great price for quality of tripod. It is extremely transportable and convenient. It is very user friendly and doesn't take much effort or time to set it up at all. Solid, sturdy, and lightweight. (A hard combination to come by) Works with almost every camera out there, with an easy interchangeable system to switch out various cameras fast. CONS: One plastic lever that adjusts height feels like its made of cheap plastic and could break if not treated properly (this is a small concern, and Cons are hard to come by with this product) Others have complaints in reviews about "cheap," "missing parts," "broke," & "not professional". Disregard such comments. With this product you get much more than what you pay for and if you treat your equipment with respect you won't have any of these mentioned problems.

This extends higher then the average tripod and feels very sturdy with the camera mounted on it. Great quality and very portable. I recommend this for any amateur photographer.

Got my item over a week ago and I got a chnace to use it a few times so far. It works very well! I'm able to film my videos with ease, and its light enough to move around to get the right angle. I recommend getting this for easy filming especially if you don't want to upgrade to something more expensive. This is perfect. So check out my YouTube channel to see me put this bad boy in action on my next video! SammySweets

A bit cheap and flimsy, not exactly professionnal grade, but still good enough for general usage!! I like it nonetheless!
