Very Good Light/Weather Band Unit For Price
Sleek and well-designed, good for packing in small packs or cases. Good reception depending on location. Have just used battery power so far, but like the fact I can use the crank if needed. The two lights are powerful and placed in good position for flashlight and/or lantern use. I'd suggest buying at least two for house and vehicle.

Great little all-in-one flashlight/radio.
I use this guy almost daily in my garage/workshop for listening to whackos drone on about UFO's on a late-night paranormal radio show. For some reason it helps me to relax after a long day while I'm planing wood and reflecting on life. This thing is solid, and I would definitely take it with me on backcountry adventures without worrying that I'm going to break it. Probably good for the apocalypse too.

Great buy! While factory charge lasts.
****Edit**** Bought almost 5 years ago. Took out of storage for Hurricane Irma. Internal battery unusable. Must keep cranking to use. Weather was station could not be picked up. Similar or lower priced radio bought just as long ago from another brand worked like a champ. When I opened the box it still had charge from the factory! Its very easy to use and the build quality is better than I expected for what I paid! The sound you hear is also pretty darn good! Don't expect Bose sound but for a little portable radio its really good. As for the light its also pretty bright! I was so happy with this purchase I bought a second one and gave it to my dad as a gift. Would recommend for any one that needs a low priced emergency radio/light for home use. It looks like it may be sturdy enough for light camping use if taken care of.

Not Happy
This seemed like a neat idea to have for emergencies but I'm not happy with it. It is bigger than I thought. My fault, the dimensions are given and I should have paid more attention. The big problem is the radio which is very poor. The weather station comes in okay but AM and FM reception is awful. It will receive only a few of the strongest stations and with a lot of static and noise. You would be much better off with a good small flashlight and a good small radio.

Good features for price, but touchy on/off buttons = drained batteries
I'm reasonably happy with this radio flashlight given the price. It's got a lantern, flashlight, and AM/FM radio, which makes it great in an emergency. It's not going to be the brightest LED flashlight given the price point, and that's OK. The crank feature is a plus as well. My complaints: - The on/off switches are very touchy. The flashlight switch has 4 points on it - Hi - Lo - Off - Lantern (in that order). The radio switch is a dial that goes from off to gradually higher volumes once you pass a "click." I keep mine in a drawer next to my bed, and I've found the batteries dead on this multiple times with almost zero use, which leads me to believe that it got turned on very easily by me rustling through my drawer. - As others mentioned, the radio dial is very touchy and doesn't work too well. In a pinch, this is something good to have, but I'd recommend keeping it someplace where it will not be touching anything - either stand it upright on a table, or hang it by its wrist strap in a closet.

Great product.....bought multiple!
So, my father was complaining about all of the batteries that he was using in his flashlight. I saw this online and for the price, I thought, it might not hurt to try it. Upon receipt, I inspected my purchase and was delighted. This device works off of crank power, battery power or may be charged with an optional AC adapter. While it is not hardened enough for keeping in the tool box, it definitely serves its purpose around the house. I have since bought two more (one for my sister and one for myself). Radio/Flashlight/Lantern combination is great for rural living (where power outages are frequent). Great product!

Great Value
Fantastic product for the price, has 2 level light (which is very bright), it stands on end and you can use the lantern. All lights are LED. It is very lite and the hand grip is very comfortable. The radio works nicely. I have purchased other brand emergency flashlights and for the price this one outdoes most. You have a handcrank to power up the unit or you can put in four C batteries to power it. I will say the one thing that could be improved on is the handcrank, it is flimsy and if you crank to hard it seems very possible to break it off.

great radio and flashlight for the price
At first I used the hand crank without the batteries and it wasn't long and I had to keep cranking, so I put the batteries in and that worked fine . I still have the original "C" batteries in and its been 4 months. I walk with it every day. The radio has a good reception and the light is very strong.
