Anastasia Beverly Hills - Tinted Brow Gel

Best color I have found for auburn hair. Does a good job oloring greys too.

I am a child of the 70’s and plucked my “once-perfect” brows until now in my 60’s they are very sparce and are getting little grey hairs.Any of you feel me on this same situation? I found an awesome solution a few years ago and I’m happy to share what I found and tell you why I still use Anastasia Beverly Hills - Tinted Brow Gel.When I discovered Amazon sells my eyebrow secret; I purchased two! I was so excited because all I have to do is press the button and open my mailbox and my brows will remain lovely.This brow gel has two different brushes for you. One brush to help line and help the “greys” stay down; the other brush to help create a smooth line and arch.I honestly do not leave my home without doing my brows and it only takes a few seconds. If my husband is saying,”leaving in two minutes,” I throw in cosmetic bag and do my brows in car.I am retired and normally do not wear lots of cosmetics; but I do wear skincare and I consider Anastasia Beverly Hills - Tinted Brow Gel to be part of my skin care must do collection.I discovered, when I had a stint selling skincare products how eyebrow color and shape is so important as they frame your face. I have found if my eyebrows do not have a shape and color then I look invisible.I’ve used many, many so called eye gels, tints etc, only to throw away because they don’t stay on; or they are too dark or cover too dark and you look like a 20’s film star.I can swim and color stays on. In fact Cole stays until you purposefully remove it.I truthfully love this product 100% and recommend for you to try.I never recommend unless I believe in a product. Really disappointed in this product. Where should I even begin? I am a natural ginger so I tried Carmel and Auburn.Pros: I guess the color is nice looking in the tube.Cons:- The application of this product is just... Bad. The applicator wand that comes with this product is messy and difficult to use. I was unable to fill in gaps with the mascara style applicator, so I tried a small angled applicator brush. Unfortunately this product doesn't stick to the eyebrows. The applicator picked up the product after the second brush stroke, making it extremely difficult to apply. It's also doesn't seem to dry quickly, and therefore smudges easily. I spent 45 minutes trying to get this product applied evenly to my brows.- "Auburn" is not a good option for natural gingers. It goes on very red, and would be better suited for someone who colors their hair dark red. Once you apply it, the red tones take over. It's clearly lacking copper tones in natural ginger hair.- "Carmel" looks great in the tube, but goes on extremely light. It might be ok for a strawberry blonde, but definitely not a good option for gingers.- It doesn't hold up against sweat. After biking and mild sweating, this product wiped off immediately.

This eyebrow gel is almost perfect for me...just needed to be a little darker. I ordered chocolate. Dark brown would have been better but it wasn't available.

While this is a good product, I think I might have received a counterfeit product instead of the real thing. This is my third tube of this stuff, and I noticed that the consistency is a lot thicker and more goopy than tubes I've had before, and the brush is quite a bit shorter than my past tubes as well. It works fine and the color is exactly the same, but I'm definitely skeptical. I thought ABH might have changed their brush or formula from when I last purchased it a few months ago, but when I compared the brush with the one in the picture on the ABH website, it's shorter than the brush in the picture.I've attached pictures comparing the brow gel I already have (which was purchased from Sephora and is legitimate) and the product I received from this order. The legit one is on the left, and the seemingly-counterfeit one is on the right.

I absolutely LOVE this product!! It comes the closest to matching my red hair, easy to apply, and goes on looking VERY natural and lasts ALL day!

Loved the varied bristle brush to tint the brow skin where they are sparse and other side builds the color and separation of brows! As a natural strawberry blonde that's aging to more ash blonde, it's always been hard to find the perfect shade for me, but the caramel added just the right amount of color to lighten my naturally sparse and darker brows without making them too dark or too sparkly. The caramel appears to have a shimmer to it in the tube, but doesn't make your brows noticably sparkly at all once brows are shaped and finished. Will def purchase again. Pleasantly surprised. I did mix with a brush at the end and add some of the Anastasia in a small compact in taupe. Prior to adding the caramel, brows were always a lil too dark with other brow options on the market.
