The book is well written for beginners. I had my first APEX project and needed to get up to speed fast. It was very helpful but now I am doing things that are more advanced then the book.

Had a great time following along with his interactive lessons, he went above and beyond for me answering questions too!

OK book .. took me through producing a mock data website in a week .. did 2 chapters a day .. although did not really understand what I was doing .. just following a written script .. will need to follow all these examples over and over with real life examples .. while trying to understand the underlying reasons for all the scripts and choices .. good introduction to different aspects of APEX programming ..Author indicated a link to free SQL book, on sending invoice to his email .. this has been honoured and PDF downloaded
