I’m happy with my Alpine pump
Alpine stood behind their warranty. I purchased the Alpine 4000 pump in September of 2023, and one day this Spring, it just stopped working. I liked the pump - it was quiet, easy to operate and keep clean, and had an incredibly long cord, The flow rate was more than adequate for my recirculating waterfall. Knowing that the pump was still under warranty- I reached out to Alpine for help. They were responsive and very graciously sent me a brand new replacement! I’m hoping to get many more months of use from the new one. It does its job well. Thank you Alpine!

A Great Water Pump that Performs Better Than Advertized!
A great pond pump that is reasonably priced and performs very well. I installed this pond pump (and this is not the first Alpine Water Pump that I have purchased) for a new waterfall feature in our backyard 4,000 gallon pond, that has a 8 foot head height from where the pump would be placed in the pond. This pump has performed in a superior manner with more than an adequate flow rate. I have NEVER had one of my Alpine water pond pumps fail and I have had my first Alpine 8000GPH Cyclone Pump installed for my 210 foot stream to the pond, which runs 24/7, for over four years now. These new generation, low amperage, high flow volume, and efficiently operating pumps are great for pond enthusiasts. I highly recommend this Alpine product line for your water feature projects.

GREAT PUMP, EXCELLENT SERVICE AFTER THE SALE
I bought this pump in March, 2021. It performed well but stopped after a year and a half of operation. The impeller had locked up. I contacted Alpine Customer Service via email. They were quick to respond, friendly and responsive. After providing documentation of the purchase and the problem, Alpine sent me a new pump (a value of $200.+). In the future I will probably pull the pump and try to take the impeller out to avoid the mineral calcification. But I greatly appreciate Alpine standing behind their product midway through a three year warranty.

Great pump but needs the filter basket more securely attatched
This pump is powerful and does a great job. The one setback we had when installing, is the filter covering the intake falls off continuously. We finally had to secure it (loosely) with a zip tie so it would stay on.

This works better than all I purchased before!
I have had a Koi fishpond since 2001. Through that time, I have purchased a few pumps. The last one before this purchase, was supposed to be the ultimate mag drive pump with a good warranty from a pond supply company. That pump had a failure in the first year. I was told I had to deal directly with the manufacture to get my warranty processed. First, they wanted to diagnose it by having me take it apart and sending them pictures. Then they wanted to send me the replacement part they said it needed. That part was not in the warranty and was going to cost us almost $200. They expected this shaft to be the problem when I first called in. It was clear this was a problem area with their pump and would not warranty it after 90 days. Our pump runs year-round. The other pump had the same advertised numbers but did not pump as much water volume as this pump. Which means our pond is cleaner with less effort. This pump runs very quiet compared to the other pumps we have used in the past. You can be sure that from this time forward this is the pump we will purchase and recommend to all of our friends. Our pond is listed on a tour of koi ponds in our area. I look forward to sharing with everybody this year about this pump and how much better it works compared the other pumps we have used. I have not had it long but the reviews on this company are off of the chart. As for how well it works. It is the best pump I have ever purchased for our pond!

Great price and fast shipping. Not sure of longevity yet. Hope it’s not a dud
I give it a 4 solely because of the price. My old 3500gph pump crapped out after 5 years. Didn’t want to drop another $600 on another one so for the price at 4000gph I thought why not. Well hooked it up today. It definitely doesn’t have the same output as my old pump so go bigger. I was a little concerned about excessive splashing from being too much for our setup. Hindsight I would’ve gone the next level up. Checked filter to make sure nothing was clogging it and didn’t change. There’s one more thing I’ll check to see if I get any improvement and will upgrade this review later. UPDATE 4 years later: this thing still runs pretty strong. Same as in the beginning. Will definitely go this route again when it does finally go! UPDATE #2 5+ years later: still chugging along perfectly no issues whatsoever! Will def go this route again if needed. And this is a 25ft run with a 18’ climb

Great service
This pump was excellent and then after many months, it failed for some reason but they replaced it very fast. We’re very cordial and I would absolutely do business with them again thank you.

Terrible customer service
I called the Alpine support number several times on Monday. The phone just rang, not even a recorded message. On Tuesday I sent an email asking about the pump configuration because a common size connection adapter seem to be missing. That evening I received an email from Karen that instructed me to send several pieces of information and photos in order to receive help. Wednesday morning I spent a half hour gathering and providing the requested information. Today is Friday, and I have not had any response at all. My question had to do with installation configuration, so I haven't installed the pump yet. When I get that done, I hope the pump is better that the customer service.

First one was a 3100 and ran 24/7 for 5 years ..... it would still be running except i got something into the impeller and the shaft broke 2 years ago ..I crazy glued it and it ran for another 2 years ......pumps up about 5 feet and lots of flow these are hard to beat

This pump was used for a waterfall and was placed in the pond. It is well made, powerful and comes with the attachments that are easy to install. But what is great about this pump is not only the quality but also the price. I am very happy to have made this purchase and would not hesitate to order again.
