🐾 Slow down, level up: The wobble bowl your dog’s been dreaming of!
The LickiMat Wobble is a 600ml slow feeder lick mat designed to reduce anxiety and boredom in dogs by promoting prolonged licking through its unique wobbling action. Made from natural, recyclable rubber, it supports dental health by increasing saliva production and helps prevent gulping and bloating. Ideal for small to medium breeds, it’s a fun, eco-friendly alternative to traditional slow feed bowls.

i works, but stains
It slowed my dog from eating to fast which is good, its very sturdy, unlikely to break or rip unless deliberate. Its good value for money. However after a period of use it does stain (washed after every use) and the stains are impossible to remove.

Good but watch out for chewers
This lickibowl was great while it lasted. Easy to spread stuff in, occupied the pup as he chased it around the floor to get the treats (although he worked out very quickly how to hold it still, clever collie), easy enough to clean. But I left him with it a bit too long one day and came home to find it in bits. He'd chewed it up, completely disregarding the other chew toys of course. So, if you've a chewer, stick to heavier duty Kong's etc. Might get it again for the other dogs though.

Good alternative to the Kong for our large pup
We recently switched to this after the Kong became too easy for our large rescue pup. We feed him raw Bella + Duke. The 'wobble' part isn't very effective, but a thin layer of wet food on the bobbly surface takes him longer to lick off. We use the wobble bowl for part of his meals and the rest in his slow feeder bowl. This adds a few extra minutes to his eating time, which is an improvement over the 60 seconds with the usual slow feeder.

Great for mess free snacking
Great for anxiety reduction. My dog loves it. I use it with peanut butter and it takes him around 30 mins to finish. Super easy to keep clean also.

Great Licky wobble Bowls!!
I purchased two of these, one for my Golden retriever and one for my sons French Bulldog... Both dogs LOVE them!! We add doggie peanut butter or yoghurt to the bowl and they absolutely love it. The wobble makes it more challenging for the dogs and we freeze them too which makes it even harder for the dogs - a great boredom buster and used on Fireworks night to distract my dog and keep him calm. They seem hardwearing - they haven't gone brittle being frozen and they are easy to clean as you turn them inside out and you can keep them nice & clean. Highly recommend.

This looks great
This looks so good for the dog. He’s not tried it yet (he’s a rescue I collect on Saturday).

6-Year Retrospective (2020–2026): Is The Wobble Bowl A Calm-Down Tool Or a Stress-Inducer?
After six years of testing the LickiMat Wobble, I have realised that "more challenge" doesn't always equal "better enrichment." While this is a durable, high-quality product that has lasted since 2020, my experience highlights a critical distinction in canine enrichment: the difference between a "fun challenge" and a "stressor." 😩 A VISUAL OF STRESS: WHEN ENRICHMENT GOES WRONG Enrichment should be fun, but the Wobble’s unpredictable movement caused my dog significant stress. I observed some "red flag" behaviours: • STIFF POSTURE: His muscles became rigid and his movements were jerky. • THE "CONFLICT" BOW: He did a sudden play bowl - not out of joy, but as a "reset" signal to diffuse the tension he felt about the rocking bowl. • DISPLACEMENT SCRATCHING: He immediately stopped to scratch himself. This is a classic self-soothing behaviour seen when a dog is overwhelmed or uncertain. I removed the toy immediately. For him, the challenge wasn't "fun" - it was a stressor that drove him to self-soothe rather than relax. CRITIQUE: MARKETING VS. REALITY This product is explicitly marketed to address ANXIETY, but in my view, this is inappropriate without significant caveats. • THE FLAW IN LOGIC: Licking releases endorphins to lower cortisol, but this only works if the dog feels safe. • For an anxious dog, PREDICTABILITY is a requirement for security. The Wobble’s "uncontrolled" rocking can actually negate the calming benefits of licking by adding a layer of frustration and environmental uncertainty. 📣 RECOMMENDATION TO THE MANUFACTURER: LickiMat should either stop marketing this specifically for anxious dogs or provide clear guidance for guardians on how to introduce this toy as part of a STRUCTURED TRAINING PROGRAMME. Specifically, the manufacturer should advise that the toy be STABILISED BY THE GUARDIAN during initial sessions to build the dog's confidence before allowing it to wobble freely. ❌ PRACTICAL CONS • CLEANING: If your dog doesn't "master" the bowl and leave it spotless, food gets trapped in the deep grooves. 🪛💡 MAINTENANCE TIP: Don't scrub by hand. Rinse immediately and use a HOT CYCLE IN THE DISHWASHER (it is 100% dishwasher safe). NOT FOR BEGINNERS: This is an "Advanced" tier toy. A BETTER ROADMAP FOR CONFIDENCE BUILDING If your dog is currently struggling with being alone or lacks "licking expertise," use a structured progression with stationary tools first. • STEP 1: THE "SAFE BASE" (FLAT MATS) Start with a mat that stays stationary. This establishes a "safe zone" where the environment is stable. LickiMat Tuff Soother (ASIN: B089DPFY2F) – A heavy-duty, dishwasher-safe version that is stationary and ideal for addressing anxiety. • STEP 2: PREDICTABLE PROBLEM SOLVING Once your dog is calm, move to puzzles that reward independence without the chaos of a wobbling bowl. The Nina Ottosson Range on Amazon UK is the gold standard: BEGINNER LEVEL: Dog Smart (ASIN: B071LMTB28) – Focuses on simple rewards to build basic focus. INTERMEDIATE LEVEL: Lickin' Layers (ASIN: B0B965SF5L) – Provides licking benefits in a stationary, tiered format. ❓VERDICT❓ This is a well-made product for confident, high-drive dogs. However, AVOID THIS for dogs in the early stages of separation training or those who lack confidence. Build their skills on flat ground first to ensure enrichment remains a joy, not a source of stress. ❤️🐾

Absolutely brilliant
These keep my GSD busy for about 20 minutes depending what I put in them. For example Greek yogurt and blueberries or wet food & veg last around 10ish. But I do a bone broth “soup” of veg, pig ears, Greek yogurt cubes and wet food which lasts her 20-40 minutes once frozen. I much prefer these over the flat lickmats, and they’re easy to clean

Le encanta. Le ponemos yogurt y arándanos y lo congelamos. Le dura lamiendo un buen rato. Ideal para cuando lo dejas sólo en casa.

Good depth of the grooves to hold in little treats. I usually freeze them and they last for ages.

This bowl is easy to load with peanut butter or other food item. It keeps my puppy occupied and happy. The shape of the bowl keeps the gooey product inside the bowl, not slopped all over the floor. The great thing is that it can be turned inside out to clean it.

Brinquedo incrível, fácil de limpar, excelente para colocar iogurte com petiscos e distrair por bastante tempo os cães.
