Source: Melaleuca leucendron is prevalent throughout Indonesia but the main commercial source is the island of Sulawesi. Extraction: Cajeput essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves and twigs of the cajaputi tree. Aroma: Cajeput essential oil has a penetrating, sweet and herbaceous scent.
