The creative duo Charles Eames (1907–1978) and Ray Kaiser Eames (1912–1988) transformed the visual character of America . Though best known for their furniture, the husband and wife team were also forerunners in architecture, textile design, photography, and film. Review: Good read - Needed within every Architectural library. Review: Nice coffee table book - I bought this book after getting an Eames chair and going to look at the Eames home in Calif. I'm a big fan of Ray and Charles work. The book has great pictures and just enough history of their work.
