I'm not big on writing lots of reviews, but I do make the effort when an item I got is really worth it.I looked at few of these watch toolkits and it was the good reviews that other people on here had left that swayed my decision.This Vaster toolkit comes in a cool black storage bag and the quality of gadgets for the price surprised me.What surprised me even more was that the thing bloody well worked straight away! I had the back case off my timex watch in 10mins and new a battery replaced.. It can be a wee bit fiddly getting the watch to stay in a locked position on the 'yellow vice' at first but it will hold after you tighten the vice.Also, the varied tools also came in handy for cleaning the locking threads on the case and scrapping any dust and gunk out. I'm well happy with this for £10.39 and hope this review helps anyone who reads it too. ;-)

A decent kit with adequate tools. The tool for removing watch case backs is decent steel and did not deform removing a tight case. The strap pins were more robust than the usual cheap Chinese junk. All told a decent kit for the amateur wanting to replace batteries or a broken strap. All for less cost than a trip to a jeweler for a single battery replacement.

A range of watch mending tools that makes it a lot easier to change watch batteries and save money.

I normallly go to someone to change the battery in my watches and it cost c£12 a time for each one. This time, due to not being out and about and having five watches needing batteries I purchased this kit. It came very well packed and ahead of the time quoted. It has a neat little bag to keep all the pieces in one place and most importantly, it worked! Little fiddly at first but then I got the hang of it. The orange handled piece (see photo of all the parts) takes the back off the watch, there will be a small lip in the base and it should prise off, the tweezers help remove the old battery and insert the new one then replace the base (I didn’t need to take watch straps off so didn’t need the screwdrivers). For me this was the tricky part - they base has to be replaced with equal pressure to ensure if fits snugly back on the watch. I used the base of the orange handle for one, it was a small watch but found a drinks coaster covering the whole area and using the heal of my hand for applying even pressure worked really well (be careful you keep the watch flat to help protect the glass front).For the cost of c£10 I did all five watch (having ordered the batteries via Amazon) so saved the best part £45 in the process. Very pleased with the result!

Super handy kit for changing batteries. I always save money by changing my own watch batteries. This kit is the best I have ever used. The holding block was easy to use and the screwdrivers are Magnetic! Which was essential as for this watch I had to unscrew the clip. I would have lost the screw if it had not held on . tweezers are super fine for holding the small screw in place. A tricky job made easy with this kit. Totally recommend.

With only 2 prongs it is difficult to get enough purchase to open the watch back easily. I did manage with great difficulty , bit only some. So I subsequently (next day ) bought a 3 pronged opener with a handle, thinking this will give much more pressure and open easier. The problem is its an old design , I have 4 watches that are larger than it at its max opening, so it wont open . Should be fine on smaller watches. Altogether though this kit is excellent value for money

So far so good, I have only used it once and it did the job well enough then. I will be using it again after Christmas when I am going to sort out a couple of old watches that need batteries. Seems well enough made and was reasonably priced. Delivery was as promised, no complaints , a good buy in my opinion.
