This book is great for me as a Raspberry Pi beginner. I worked with the book and the video course to setup my first Raspberry Pi project. It helped a lot to read the instructions and see it also in the videos. So now i feel confident to try a new project in the future. I have got all the basics to setup a Raspberry Pi from this book and don't wasted time. That was my goal. Very helpful book for me as Raspberry Pi beginner... Thanks

I bought this book as a gift for a friend and saw that the reviews were mostly great for anyone who is a beginner just learning about Raspberry Pi. So I bought it and two days later I got this crap! It liteally looks like someone photo copied the inside from the actual text book glued it together and slapped a cover over it. The book isn't even cut properly and has a huge slant with some of the text being cut off on pages.

It works well

Very helpful for first time raspberry pi users. Explains the basics. Videos make things much easier to understand.

Redundancy is painful. Often begins a sentence with "As was explained previously". Many chapters seem to end with a paragraph suggesting to watch the youtube video of the book. Some explanations were not complete toughts, I felt that the book did not flow. As if the book was written in another language and run through a translator. I started looking to the internet for clarity and understanding. Sadly I got more from the internet. Sorry, it just didn't deliver.

This manual was interesting to read and helped me develop a sense of familiarity with my Pi. I am now using it in numerous experiments and as a spare desktop computer.

This book is a very light read. I would not recommend it for the price that it is. The information within can be found commonplace on the internet. Don't waste your cash.

The book was generally hard to read because of the quality of the publishing. Also the work mentioned on the book was unavailable because the website could not be reached.

Poor quality print and not clear in description that it refers to online tutorial.

The book was a great help for me to setup my Raspberry Pi. For me as a Raspberry Pi beginner, i found step by step the instructions needed in the right order. After the first setup of my Raspberry Pi it was also a good help to know easy to install Raspberry Pi projects to start with. So now i have a great new ad blocker for all my home devices, what is absolutely fantastic to have. 😉 I can recommend every Raspberry Pi newbie this book without a question.
