I absolutely love this food kitchen scale with the bowl! It has been perfect for measuring everything I need, especially for baking bread where accuracy really matters. The measurements are precise and consistent, which gives me great results every time. The scale is lightweight and very easy to set up and use. The bowl is a huge plus it makes measuring ingredients clean and simple without needing extra dishes. I also love how easy it is to switch units and reset when adding ingredients. Love this scale. We have been using another brand for years that worked well enough, but the buttons started failing. After a thorough search we settled this one and it's great. Very accurate, love the .1 precision, and the backlight is a big help. I didn't think I'd use the included bowl, but it's quite handy and largely lives on the scale and is only rarely removed. Large enough weight capacity, easy to see display, and a good size compromise to fit in a corner of the counter when not in use, but large enough to hold a large bowl when necessary.

Seems to be accurate and easy to use so far, but it is made of very cheap plastic and looks like it. This is fine given the price, but I'd be happy to have paid twice as much for better plastic.

I was a bit nervous about this purchase after reading the reviews. When I first received the unit I tried it out on many different types of weighing applications. I have used many scales for commercial weighing/counting applications in a manufacturing environment so I am comfortable with how a scale “should” work. It read very consistently. Coins weighed out to their standard weights. Re-weighing items yielded very consistent results. I love the auto-tare feature. When you first turn the unit on with a bowl on the plate it automatically tares to zero so you don’t have to tare off the bowl every time you turn the unit on. I thought the speed was very good. The only issue I had was the two minute auto-shutoff. If you get side-tracked (which I do easily), the unit powers off after two minutes and you have to completely restart your weighing project due to the fact that when you turn the unit back on it will tare out everything on the plate (including what you’re trying to weigh). I purchased the scale more for weighing yarn skeins than for cooking. I use it to determine how many yards are left in a partial skein. So the fact that it weighs in 0.1 gram increments was very important to me. Also, I needed it to weigh items less than 5 grams. Unlike some other scales, this one does that. For weighing my yarn, this scale is very good. It does have issues with weighing tiny items. I tried weighing some beads that were approximately 0.15 grams each. I placed them in the bowl one-at-a-time after first turning the unit on and it would auto-tare back to zero every time I added a single bead. However, if I added a pinch of beads all at once the unit would weigh the total of all the beads, and then when I added or subtracted a bead it read the weight of each single bead added or removed just fine. This unit might not work in a commercial application where you are using the scale to count or weigh very small items, but for my purposes it is just great. I have only had the unit for about a week, so I cannot rate it on how long it lasts.

I love this scale. I make peanut butter eggs every Easter and I had to purchase a new scale. I only use it for about a month all year and the Wal-Mart scale I previously bought only lasted 1-1/2 months. This scale works exactly like I hoped it would and is so much easier to use that my old one. Well worth the price.

Great features for the price! I have as a gift to a bread baker and she loves it bc it's cordless, batteries (which came with and worked on first test) are still working 6 weeks later and she uses it daily. It turns off after a period to save but all you have to do is touch the scale and it comes back. I chose this one because it measures to the .1 gram and ounces, which is hard to find. Plus it takes very small measurements and fits bowls. You can use without the plastic bowl, but it's handy to have and still is compact. came fast!

The scale is of very good quality stainless steel and it is very easy to use. I like the deep bowl which is very useful for weighing liquid and of course, there is the T button or tare resets which are extremely important.
