does it work OK with other brand gel base and top coats?

I have used it with the sensationail and the aimeili no wipe base and top coat. It dried fine and looked shiny..but only lasted about five days for me. So I don't know if that's the polish or the base and top coat.

Can i use this for a french manicure?

Yes this shade of pink can be used for a French manicure. It is a semi sheer that needs three coats to make it almost opaque.

Is this gel tacky or no wipe? Wondering if gel powders will work with it (which needs a tacky surface)

I have this nail polish in the blue and yes, it is tacky. Have to wipe with alcohol wipes after application to get smooth result.
