An inventive idea without a huge cost of railings..
I used two of these strong sturdy contemporary grab bars on a wall on each side of two steps leading up from a living room to a dining room as my husband and I needed a railing and could not find someone to install one. These bars are fabulous! Necessity is indeed the mother of invention and these bars are just what was called for and look great.

Shorter than the description
Didn’t fit the description. I thought I was buying a grab bar 18” long; it was 14”

It's heavy duty, nice finish, and when mounted to drywall with screw in anchors is extremely solid. While it is expensive, it has a nicer finish and look than some less expensive brands.

Want a good looking grab bar?
The only grab bar I've seen that doesn't look like it belongs in a Handicap toilet stall
