Great question! At this time, refill ink pads are not sold separately. But there is no reason to think your child won't get many hours of colorful fun from this product. The magic of Color Wonder is that the clear inks last much longer than standard inks. We hope this helps!

Crayola Mess-Free Color Wonder is a creative system of inks and paints that utilizes leuco dye chemistry. The clear Color Wonder inks and paints appear only on special Color Wonder paper. This patented technology was developed by Crayola scientists. Additional information about the science of Color Wonder is proprietary and cannot be shared.

Will this work with the color wonder tropical color paints?

The Color Wonder Tropical Color Paint Pots will work with the Color Wonder Magic Light Brush and Color Wonder Paper, but the paint pots will not fit into the unit's stamp pad area and the brush will not light up when using the pots.
