Bemis 400TTA Economy Durable Wood Toilet Seat, Made in USA, Round, White

It was easy to install, is stable, and seems to be a great toilet seat. It is stable when using it and, so far, easy to clean. It closes smoothly as well. I needed a toilet seat and finally bought this one. It was a great price and is a quality product.

I am very happy with this toilet seat. It was easy to install and fit my toilet perfectly. The seat feels sturdy and comfortable, and the material seems durable and easy to clean. I also like that it closes smoothly and doesn’t slam shut. It gives my bathroom a nice updated look. Overall, this is a great quality toilet seat and I would definitely recommend it. * Easy installation * Comfortable seating * Soft-close feature * Sturdy and durable construction * Easy to clean * Attractive design * Good value for the price

easy to install once i found the right video, don't toss your old hardware i have a weird shaped toilet and needed the screws from the previous one as these had a small lip. my alternative was covered in tape to fix it so im happy with this.

Pretty good, especially for the price. Still mildly annoyed at the sturdiness of it. It still slides around too much, which was the main thing I wanted to fix. But it’s sturdy enough where you can sit on top of the lid if you’re getting ready or something. It fit my toilet fine, just make sure to measure correctly, for reference I believe my toilet is a standard round. Hopefully my photos help. It’s not a soft close!

Where do I even begin with the Economy Toilet Seat? It's safe to say that this toilet seat has provided me with endless laughter and comical experiences. If you're looking for a good chuckle, this budget-friendly seat might just be the perfect addition to your bathroom! First and foremost, the "economy" part is no joke. This toilet seat is as basic as it gets. It's made of thin, flimsy plastic that makes me question its durability every time I sit down. But hey, it's all in good fun, right? The installation process was, well, interesting to say the least. The instructions were as clear as mud, and I had to channel my inner DIY expert just to figure it out. After a bit of trial and error, I managed to get it attached to my toilet, and it has held up surprisingly well... so far. The size of the seat is a bit quirky. It's a tad smaller than the standard seats I'm used to, so it gives the bathroom a whimsical, funhouse vibe. My friends and family can't help but laugh when they see it, and it's become a conversation starter during gatherings. Now, the comfort level is where things get truly amusing. Let's just say this seat is not built for luxury or relaxation. It's more of a "get in, do your business, and get out" kind of seat. But hey, who needs comfort when you have a good laugh every time you use it? The Economy Toilet Seat is undoubtedly a conversation piece. Friends and family can't resist commenting on its uniqueness every time they visit. It's become a running joke in our household, and I must admit, it has brought a lot of laughter and lightheartedness to our lives. In conclusion, the Economy Toilet Seat may not be the most luxurious or practical choice, but it has certainly brought a lot of humor and amusement to my bathroom experience. If you're looking for a toilet seat that will make you smile every time you see it, this one might just be the perfect fit.

Easy to install and looks and works great. Budget friendly price too.

Best fit and sturdy with easy installation and best price.

Gather round, children, and listen to my tale of toilet seat woe. There I was, just a few short weeks ago, in need of a new toilet seat. My previous toilet seat, also made by Bemis, had lasted for years and given good service. But it was definitely time to replace that one. I looked on Amazon, found one that looked good, made from wood with a white finish, and it was only around $15! And then, oh innocent ones, I bought that toilet seat. It arrived, and everything seemed good. This toilet seat looks good. It feels good. It came promptly. Shipping was free with Amazon Prime. In short I was under the impression that it WAS good. The toilet seat installed easily. I tried to open the lid as a test. Instead of leaning against the back of the toilet, the lid stood straight up. "Huh, that's weird" I said to myself. But that doesn't seem like a big deal, and it only cost a few bucks. I could live with a toilet lid that stood straight up. Right? The first sign of trouble came when I sat on the toilet one night after everyone had gone to bed. When leaned against, the standing-straight-up lid bangs loudly against the back of the toilet. Not good! But still, this seat cost about $15, so I just have to very carefully lean against it, directing it slowly against the back of the toilet instead of just sitting down willy-nilly. This was my own fault, I thought, foolishly to myself. Next, I started detecting that the seat slides to the left, since the material that the pads is made out of is a cheap plastic and not grippy to the porcelain. I tried tightening the seat more onto the toilet porcelain, confident in my naiveté that this would fix the problem. Of course, it did not fix the problem. The very-low-quality plastic hinges that were also responsible for the lid standing straight up when raised also did not have the needed rigidity to keep the seat from flexing to either the left or to the right. And flex it did, at which point I discovered yet another problem with this toilet seat. THE BOTTOM OF THE SEAT HAS A SHARP EDGE! When I first noticed this during initial unpacking, I thought that the sharp edge was just a stylistic thing that you can't really see anyway--it's underneath! Yeah, I was stupid then, only a few weeks ago. But now I discover that the sharp edge, in combination with the hinges that don't stop the seat from sliding left or right on top of the porcelain and along with the pads that don't grip, means that toilet seat bottom traps and pinches your leg between the seat and the porcelain. And it's sharp, so that pinch HURTS. This is a toilet seat that makes loud bangs at night when you're trying to be quiet, that slides left and right because of bad quality hinge material, that doesn't stick well to the porcelain, and that pinches your leg under itself. It's not a toilet seat, it's a trap! Avoid this toilet seat. If a toilet seat hurts you, it is not doing its job.

Easy to assemble. Sturdy and fits well.
