Amazing Child Single Montessori Insets Tray 9 1/2" x 8" (240x200mm) Board

I purchased the plastic Avyx Geometric Shapes through Sonlight for my almost-three-year old as they were more in line with our budget than metal insets (and since we are using their reading list). They recommended using a clipboard with them, but I was aware of these inset trays from Montessori environments and thought my daughter might have a better experience with this set up. This fits the plastic insets well. My toddler can easily set up the activity from the tray on her shelf as she desires; I don't think she would have been independent with the clipboard and would have gotten frustrated. Very happy with his purchase. A niche product, but if you need a tray for Montessori-style insets this one does the job.

This was exactly what we needed! The dimensions in the tray were perfect (I believe our insets are old Neinhuis insets) to keep it still and the finger gaps are very useful for removing the insets. The description implies the gap around the inset is enough that 'it doesn't replace the need for the child to hold it steady' and I would argue that isn't exactly true, it holds the square pretty steady, BUT that is useful for my toddler who is just starting to use these. She is getting the hold-and-control practice when we trace around the inset cutouts (the shapes, themselves, rather than the negative space of the square insets). I love this and highly recommend it so far!

I bought this Single Montessori inset holder tray as an added accessory to the Montessori Geometric Cabinet and I’m so glad I did!! It’s necessary to use with the insets but I was nervous about ordering it because I wasn’t 100% that the inset would fit in the tray. I’m glad I took the chance because it’s as if this tray was made exactly for the inset. It fits perfectly! My 2 year old loves it.

Es un buen material, pero sirve para llevarlas a la mesa y trabajar, ya que no logras trabajar en ella si colocas el molde de apoyo que es de vinyl con plástico. Además de que las facilitadoras, no recomiendan que se trabaje en él. debe ser en la mesa. Por lo que vive como bandeja para transportar los materiales a la mesa.

I like the size of this product more than the side by side trays often seen. I bought 2 for my lower El classroom.

Over all I love this product, just a bit pricey for it being just a stencil set. Also wish it was sold as a kit with all parts included. Also i know Montessori does the whole blue/pink and red and blue color combos for the items, but man both are so ugly lol! So i am all for abandoning those practices in all unnecessary places like with the stencils. My 3 yr old can handle the items very well on his own. Thick and durable product. Overall very happy with purchase and quality

I am very disappointed with the quality of this product. It is so warped it is not useable. I DO NOT recommend!
