Are the elderberries cooked? I just read that raw elderberries can make you sick.

The elderberry/sambuccus extract undergoes a heat treatment, so cyanide (in the raw fruit) is destroyed. Testing also confirmed the absence of cyanides in these elderberry gummies.

Does this contain elder leaves or stems, or unripe or uncooked elderberries?

No just pure elderberry fruit extract
