Must the small part on the side (center) be left uninflated or removed entirely?

The small center peice is inflated with the entire top or flat portion. There are only two large cells. The big flat one and the thick one that fills the center between the seats

This fits Hyundi ix25?

It generally fits for most brand cars. Our product size : LxWxH: 53x33x12.6 inch . As for Hyundi ix25, You'd better measure your backseat size first .Thanks.

Would leaving it inflated be a problem?

Leaving it inflated would make it quite difficult to place in/remove from your vehicle. I have a patriot and it was pretty snug fitting in the back once it was inflated. I have no idea if you could leave it inflated in the back for more than a few days with no problems as I have only needed it for one night here and there.
