CAT mens Heavy Insulated Parka (Regular and Big & Tall Sizes)

This jacket is great. First, there are so many pockets to choose from, from easily seen to more hidden. The hidden pockets are great for putting keys or a wallet. The normal pocket location is lined with a warm clothes to keep your hands warm. However, it would be better if there was some slight angling to the pocket for more comfortable feeling. Second, the jacket keeps you warm. It's -17 with wind chill, and although my face feels frozen, my body and arms are nice and warm. I took off the hood for a more sleak look, but am tempted to put it back on due to the cold. Third, the jacket fits nice. It's not too long nor too short. Perhaps the sleeve could be 1/2" longer, but that might just be personal preference. Although it's padded for warmth, it is not too bulky. Overall, I am glad I purchased this jacket for the winter. It looks nice, keeps me warm, and overall comfortable.

Nice looking,well fit warm winter coat special for out door wearing. The materials for outside and inside are good for its purple. It is little heavy compare to other materials such as silk and down but the price under 100$ to compare to 300$ seems very good buy.After I received it just come an unexpected snow strom hit here(nj) temperature down to 14F and 9” of snow I wear it to clean snow and feel really nice and warm, only thing if cover the face more and better will be better . I highly recommend for winter wear espicially for outdoor.

My son needed a new jacket and selected this one to be his winter coat, and so far I'm really liking it. He is very small so I was afraid that a small was going to be too big, however it fits very well with some room to spare inside for bulky clothing like sweatshirts or sweaters. Because he's thin, it's hard for him to keep warm so I had my reservations due to the jacket looking so thin. He said it's warmer than any of his other jackets and all he had on underneath was a t-shirt. That's a big deal for him. My biggest complaint has to be about the threading. I am unsure as to where/how the jackets are sewn together and why the loose thread ends are EVERYWHERE. I am currently fixing all of these threads and so far I'm at 25 fixes and I've only covered the front right panel (about 1/6) of the jacket. Besides that, every thing else is great. The fabric, durability, pockets, lining, fit, cold/wind/rain protection are all great, it's just the stitching is sloppy and unsecured. One last thing to mention is the double zipper heads. The top one is the primary one that you use like a regular zipper. The bottom zipper is used to unzip the jacket when you need to get something out of your pants pocket or around your waist area (like an item that you would clip onto your belt) without exposing your upper body and risk losing all your body heat in the process. The zipper only has to be opened a few inches to accomplish this. I have a hunting coat that has this feature and I love it, especially on 20 degree mornings in the mountains.

BEST jacket ever, you can steal from grocery stores easy. The deep pockets inside is AMAZING. You save so much money fitting sizable items into the inside pockets. LOVE THIS JACKET

I bought this jacket, but did not have chance to test it until I traveled to work at Mountain Home Idaho, at elevation 6000 ft, temp 37F, wind shear 20 mph, and I felt like -10 degrees. It was so cold and raining that my hands were freezing when working outside. However, thanks to this jacket that kept me warm during that time, plus it is water repellent for light rain. I am very happy with this jacket, and recommended for cold /wet weather.

I love this Jacket. It does run small but with a medium size it was perfect. It has lots of easy access pockets. It is very warm but you do need to spray the coat with something for the rain. Other than that I would recommend this this product.

15 pockets! 15! I mean, that's like $5 a pocket. Incredible value. The inside of the jacket is lined with quilted insulation. The sleeves have a stretchy cuff at your wrist that sits inside the edge of the sleeve. Very nice for wearing gloves. I took a few recommendations from other reviews to buy a size smaller then what I normally wear. I normally wear a medium so I bought a small and the small fits perfectly. The hood is removable and is huge. Big enough to fit over a hard but can cinch tight around your face. The jacket itself is actually lighter than all of the Carhartts and Dickies jackets I was trying on.

I needed a winter jacket, this fit the bill.

First off, similar to what I read in other reviews, I found it does fit kind of large. I ended up returning the medium I first bought and got a small instead. I’m 5’9” 180lbs, and the small is slightly snug, but in a good way. It fits very nice. I have just started wearing the same jacket for my 3rd winter now and it is still going strong. I work construction outside everyday, all year round in Ontario and this is one of the best jackets I’ve purchased for work in 15 years. It keeps me warm (when dressed appropriately underneath), lots of pockets, nice big removable hood to block the wind, and it is water proof for the most part. Water will soak through on days when it is pouring rain. But on average it keeps me dry. And it is not overly bulky. This jacket is still in good shape, no rips or tears yet after 3 years. I will be buying it again.

A really wonderful coat. Sturdy, good material quality, and very warm...one of the the warmest I've ever bought (saying this right after a few days of -30C weather). Worth every penny for the very reasonable cost as far as my experience goes. Something to keep in mind before ordering (already mentioned by others) is that the material is fairly generous and so the sizes tend to fit a bit big. A pleasant surprise when one usually tends to run into the opposite problem. But if in doubt, consider a size smaller than you're used to...the S fits me perfectly although I usually order M. Definitely two thumbs up.

Good material. Really warm and lots of pockets. Holding up well for someone who is historically hard on clothes. Update: three years later and still in excellent shape! Update no 2: 5 years and going strong with one loose inside seam. This coat was an excellent investment
