My brother has limited mobility with his lower body. He was using his jersey shirt to place under him so that he could easily slide and transfer. He absolutely loves this product, he says he wished he had knowledge of this product before. Worth it!

This board works much better than the board without the rollers

We had a transfer board with beads but it lost too many of the rollers. We ordered this as a replacement, but it was way to heavy for the patient to use. Also it was not sanded well so was rough and the edges around the opening where the beads are are not beveled or smooth. They are actually rather sharp and I felt like I was going to cut my self or get a splinter just picking it up or lightly running my fingers over it. No way would I let a patient sit and slide on this board. It is not safe.

This board is worth every bit of the price. It is solid with wooden roler balls. The roles make it very easy for the person to slide on without any huffing and puffing. Good choice

My husband needs to transfer to and from a wheelchair. Unfortunately the wood split so we never got a chance to fully use it. But, we did get a full refund. Company was very understanding. I love the idea to prevent friction burns.

This transfer board is really good for beginners, people who don’t have a lot of tricep function or just anyone in general if you’re talking about a car transfer. I was afraid that it will not be long enough for a car transfers, but it definitely is. The only downside it is very, very heavy, and really difficult to maneuver if you have a compromised upper body strength. I recommend trying it though.

This transfer board had more board before you get to the rollers then I felt necessary. The problem with using a regular slide board is your skin does not glide over the wood so when transferring into a shower, and especially transferring out, it’s very difficult to even get to the rollers.

I returned this item as I was fearful of a finger or patch of loose skin getting caught in the rollers. It was well made and heavy duty while being light. It might be great for a younger person who did not have loose hanging skin.
