Does silverware leave marks on the plates? The stoneware we have is severely marked up.

No, silverware does not leave any marks.

Do the dishes get hot in the microwave?

Thank you for reaching out. While our dinnerware is microwave safe, the materials can still absorb heat. We recommend making sure your dish is at least ¾ full when you're using them in the microwave to distribute heat more evenly. We also recommend using a pot holder if they’re still hot to the touch.
