This has become my "go to" linux reference. It is modern and gets to the heart of what you need to know to administer linux on a single platform or as a light weight administrator.Carla Schroder is a delight. Her writing is never dull and yet, not too familiar. She is able to highlight the most important commands and techniques with enthusiasm and clarity.

Book came a little beat up and maybe water damaged.🤨So far looks like a great refresher for a rusty user such as myself.

Great for everyone like me who thinks they know what they’re doing until something breaks.

I have a number of linux books which are focused on various subjects. I think I need all of them, as no one book really covers it all. This was a good read, for the subject matter it tried to cover.

I love the way this author covers everything in a problem/solution fashion. I have her first Linux cookbook and used it extensively. This one adds the latest configurations and how to handle the changes. Awesome tool to have for Linux users.
