Back the Blue!

Originally I wrote: I ordered green light bulbs because in my state we are displaying green lights in memory of citizens who have died in the pandemic in our state. I have waited patiently for this delivery. Unfortunately, I received white light bulbs that I could have found locally. These are worthless for my purpose.Update: Today I was starting to put these bulbs in a storage drawer when my husband asked if I had tried one in a lamp. I had not. So, he put it in a lamp and turned it on to see a beautiful green glow. Just what I had wanted when I ordered them! Even though they are white bulbs, they glow green when turned on! I am very happy with this purchase.

This are perfect for our holiday decorating outside (put them in our garage sconces). I guess I didn't realize, however that the bulb itself wasn't colored blue (only the light)...I was in the middle of starting a return when I looked at the box more closely and saw that it indeed said blue. I thought my order was messed up and I had been sent white bulbs. But after testing one and discovering that it was indeed blue light I was thrilled!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I am really liking these red flame bulbs. I bought some to decorate for Valentine's Day. They would also work well for Christmas when you need some type of red light. I've included a video to show how the flicker appears. I think it looks very nice. I also turned off the lights midway through my video so that you can get an idea as to how rich and true the red color appears. To be honest, the video doesn't really do the rich red color justice. The glass is frosted on my lantern and when this light is on it looks like a rich red Kool-Aid cherry color. In the video it looks sort of pale and washed out.I am happy with these lights. But the reason why I am deducting one star is because their replacement policy is highly flawed. I bought four of these bulbs (two orders each consisting of two bulbs). One of the bulbs didn't work from the start. I contacted the company to ask for a replacement and they immediately gave me a refund for the defective bulb. But I need four bulbs for my project. So I insisted on receiving a replacement. But my only option was to buy another pair of bulbs as they are only sold this way. So now I will have five. I am still waiting for my second delivery to arrive. I expressed my concerns with the seller and they've agreed to refund me $3 once my order arrives. It would have been nice if I could buy one of these at a time. Not everyone needs two bulbs. At least the price is pretty good.If these bulbs fail or give me any issues in an untimely manner I will update my review and deduct more stars. But for now I am happy with my purchase.Edit: After seeing that my review has been approved and I watched got to see my video I must say I am highly disappointed. Amazon converts my videos to the point of looking like THE ABSOLUTE WORST QUALITY IMAGINABLE!! The video quality on my phone and laptop looks a lot nicer And in person these red bulbs look quite rich; especially if they are the only light source wherever you're using them.

4 bulbs received, all worked out of the package but one died within 2 minutes and the other got noticeable dimmer almost instantly. Quality on these seems hit or miss and typical for bargain rate mainland China manufacturing. Not a fan...sending back within 15 minutes of receiving.

I love this Ameriluck red bulb. The bulb emits a nice cozy, rosy glow (not too red), and it is reasonably priced.Red light is healthier than white light or blue light. (Studies by NIH and others show that repeated exposure to white light or blue light can eventually lead to macular degeneration and vision loss. Additionally, white or blue light damages skin collagen). The Ameriluck red bulb is within the safe range in terms of color temperature (kelvins) and wavelength nanometers.And I love that this bulb is shatter-proof.I purchased a large quantity of these bulbs. I recently installed almost all of the bulbs, and I have had no problem with any of them so far. And it's reassuring to know that the seller provides a 2-year warranty.I'm very grateful to Suni (the seller's representative), who provides awesome customer service! Before purchasing, I sent the seller a ton of emails asking detailed questions about this bulb. (I'm sure I drove them crazy)! But Suni very patiently and promptly answered each and every one of my questions. I always received a response within a few hours (sometimes immediately).

In terms of actual brightness, I should have given these a 7 - they are a very vivid cobalt blue, so if you are looking for a very blue light, these are great. However, for my application, I needed these as replacement bulbs for a set of hanging lights, and the original bulbs (which I was no longer able to source) are a somewhat lighter/whiter blue. Matching the original bulb color is not so much the issue, but we find the color of the new bulbs is harder (or overly-stimulating?) on the eyes. I attempted to photograph the difference, but apparently the blue wavelength is something my camera can't deal with either(!)

Only used for a few days but bright for the size and I dropped them very hard....🤪 hard enough they should have ruined them... and it didn’t.
