FPV Remote Controller 2

This is a genuine DJI remote controller 2!! I paid only $157 and it looks and feels brand new, though it only came in a plastic bag with no instructions or box. At first I was very disappointed because it wouldn’t charge using my expensive Apple USB-C charging cord and was so upset because currently at the time of writing 9/1/22 the DJI Avata has just launched and these controllers have become extremely scarce since DJI decided not to include one of these in any bundle for their new cinewhoop. Thankfully before returning my perfectly working controller as a faulty unit, I tried my two cheapest gutterbird usb-c cables and the controller charging lights lit up like Christmas. I was overjoyed. It did take HOURS to fully charge, but I checked it this morning and as of this writing I’ve got one fully charged official remote 2 waiting for my brand new Avata!!! Edit: whew! After figuring out the charging fiasco, I came onto another problem. This controller wouldn’t pair! I did some research and realized the firmware might not be up to date. I found it impossible to update the firmware using the iPhone app. When I tried to download the app there wasn’t one on the mac store and finding the correct install on DJI’s website was less than easy. The correct app is the DJI assistant 2 consumer drone edition or something convoluted like that. But when you try to install it violates a lot of software rules and attempts to execute Terminal installs, so I cancel installation and uninstalled as much as I could, then switched to my PC to install the firmware update. I was finally able to connect my controller to the app on my PC (make sure your controller is charged and you know how to turn it on properly! (click and then click and hold for four until you hear the power on jingle)) and lo, found this controller I bought here was on a 1.0 firmware. Near success. I attempted to update. Thwarted. Update failed. Why???? Don’t know. Retried. Firmware update succeeded! Moment of truth. DJI Remote Controller 2 paired instantly to my fully updated Avata. To the others in the reviews here, I feel sorry for you all for giving up so quickly. Many of you probably returned perfectly working controllers.

I have to say, I’m a huge fan of DJI products, and the DJI FPV Remote Controller 2 has only deepened my appreciation for their commitment to quality and innovation. As someone who owns four of their drones, I can confidently say that this remote controller is yet another stellar addition to their lineup. The DJI FPV Remote Controller 2 offers a level of precision and control that’s simply unmatched. It’s a game-changer for my FPV flying experiences. The ergonomic design fits perfectly in my hands, and the intuitive layout of buttons and controls makes piloting my drones a breeze. What truly impresses me is the seamless integration with DJI’s FPV drones. It’s clear that DJI has designed this controller with their FPV ecosystem in mind, ensuring that every flight is smooth, responsive, and enjoyable. Whether I’m racing through the skies or capturing breathtaking aerial footage, this controller gives me the confidence to push the limits of my drones. The range and reliability are exceptional, and the connection is rock-solid. In conclusion, the DJI FPV Remote Controller 2 is a must-have for anyone serious about FPV flying. DJI’s commitment to excellence shines through once again, and as a long-time DJI enthusiast with four of their drones, I can’t recommend this controller enough. It’s a five-star addition to my collection! 🚁🎮🌟

At the top description it says it is compatible with the Avada 2. That is wrong. Only the FPV controller 3 is compatible with the Avada 2. This is in all likelihood an excellent controller, but will not work with the Avada 2. We had to purchase the correct controller and return this one. Given 5 stars because it isn't the fault of the controller that the description is wrong.

So far so good ill give a update later

I ordered this remote and within 15 minutes I cancelled my order. Three days later I got a notification that my account was charged and it was shipping. I received a notice it woukd arrive in 2 weeks. I got a notice 2 weeks that it was out for delivery. Then that day it said running late. Next update would not give me the delivery day. Finally able to get a refund through Amazon. Item never arrived About the remote. The one I actually received works great. DJI has quality products. Easily binds to your drone by pressing the power button and holding it until you hear it beating. Only takes seconds to bind. Battery power will give you 6 hours flight time Highly Reccomended

Idk if it's the controller being used or renewed it took 3 orders to get a working unit to get it to pair to my avata.

This is a great price to pay for an original DJI controller 2 remote. My order arrived 2 weeks early and just in time for Christmas. It came packaged in a DJI box with all of its paperwork. I had to update the firmware before the remote would bind with the my Avata but once done it was a synch to bind. Since I'm used to flying other DJI camera drone I'm used to flying with a remote. I new joy stick controller is okay but for me this remote controller was worth the money. Other vendors are asking up to $150 more for the same controller so do your due diligence and happy flying.

Very good and it was not damaged when I received it
