Does it come off when you write things on it

On hard surfaces you can use a dry erase marker to remove permanent marker. I don't think it works on a lot of things but I used it to remove writing on my clear totes since I am moving and needed to write what was now stored inside. I have never gotten it off clothes and I have to use a soft scrub brush to remove it from my skin.

Does this come in white?

I have never a white one. But they do. In fact Amazon does.

Will it work on fabric & remain after laundry

If using on a fabric transfer the writability with Permanent marker is possible and it should last through wash cycles but you may see some color fading on the ink after several washes.

Do they work on metal?

Yes, you can use this marker on a metal surface.
