Hello, this net comes with a top and bottom string. You should be able to tie this to trees with no problem! Thank you.

Q: Has anyone left this up year-round? I'm in Ohio so need a weather-proof one that will hold up for a few years.

We leave ours up. We are in Missouri. Held up fine but it's only been a year.

Q: What are the 6 sided tape reinforcement dowels that come with it?

I believe they are tiny little metal rings. In all honestly, this is cheaply made. My daughter served a ball in the net and the ball ripped threw those strings like nothing was there.
