How did you come up with the idea for this product?
There's been an increased interest in Internet Of Things (IoT)
customizable platforms that allow for rapid prototyping in a wide
variety of applications. The ESP8266 SoC provides an inexpensive
platform that is useful for both prototypes and final products.
We decided to build a low-cost development board that would allow
users to quickly and easily get started with developing their
next internet-connected project.
What makes your product special?
Our development board includes all the necessary components to
make it a plug-n-play development platform to easily get started
building IoT projects. Through a plethora of examples and
Learning Resources, we provide the support needed for you to take
your ideas into implementation!
What has been the best part of your startup experience?
Being able to run a business around our favorite hobby - Do-It
Yourself Electronics - and sharing what we love with people we
care about - our customers - each day! Theres's been ups and
downs as with most endeavors in our lives, but the benefits of
this journey have strongly outweigh the obstacles we've faced.
Being able to use our technical knowledge for the benefit of
others, independent of age or skill, has been immensely
rewarding, we hope to continue reaching as many people as
possible to share with them our passion for the wonderful world
of tinkering with electronics.
