I love the smell and the way that it lathers. It’s good for my boys hair. Their hair doesn’t get greasy fast. They take about three baths a week. This keeps their hair, healthy and soft and the bottle is easy for them to use. I’ve bought this multiple times already. I’m about to buy more now. I wish it came in a bigger bottle just because we go through it kind of fast, but the price isn’t bad so I can’t complain too much.

This smells nice, keeps my kids hair clean for a few days and seems to cause less issue if it ends up in their eyes then other shampoos. I’ve purchased it many times and love that it has less toxins than typical shampoos. You don’t need much to go a long way- it suds up well. Can recommend!

Wanted to love this, but I am not a fan of the smell. It smells like a really watered down watermelon. Would be great if your child has sensitivities to fragrance. I prefer a more scented product. The shampoo did get the job done though and left my daughter with soft hair.

I wanted to wait a few months of using it before leaving my review. Preface: I take a "chemical free" lifestyle very, very seriously, especially with my children. So many products market themselves as safe, non-toxic, etc. but when you actually look at the ingredients, they still have harmful chemicals in them. And yes, I understand even water is a chemical, but what I'm describing is unnecessary chemicals/ingredients that are good for the manufacturer but bad for your family. Anyway, I was using the Earth Mama Angel Baby shampoo/body-wash for the first 7 months of my son's life because of all the great reviews. I didn't research too much into other brands since I thought they were supposed to be the best. Well, the product isn't very good. I know when you use less ugly ingredients it's harder to get a good clean, and it's harder to get a good lather, but c'mon now, you can't wash hair without SOME lather! Also, once he started to sit up in the tub and the shampoo started to run down his face while rinsing, he was crying big time - I do not think it is a tear free design. Finally I decided there had to be something better that got the job done, smelled decent and was safe. IN COMES THE MONSTER I'm soooo glad I found Fresh Monster! Lovely company that cares about providing safe products for our children to use on their hair and skin. Coconut is my favorite for everything so the smell is light and just gives off a very clean smell. Finally, it actually lathers beautifully!! So easy, so gentle. It isn't marketed as tear-free (I don't think?) but I saw some people say it was. I'm a little on the fence with that. While he doesn't cry like he did with the EMAB, he does rub his eyes a little after I rinse his hair and it gets in his eyes. Note - he doesn't rub his eyes when it's pure water going down his face. He doesn't scream/cry so that's definitely a bonus. And the price is really not bad at all for a non-toxic product. Less than $10? Yes, yes, yes!

I’m a professional hairstylist and after a lot of research for my daughter with thin hair i wanted a “clean” product but one that wouldn’t weigh down her hair and we love this product smells nice too! You do need a conditioner or we use a leave in conditioner after!

Love. I've been using honest brand for my son for years and just switched to try this. My new favorite. Makes his hair so soft and smells great, but not too strong of a smell as he's sensitive. He loves it.

So far happy with this. Smooth and silky hair even with our hard water.
