Works Great: Some thoughts based on other reviews
Used this tape on a slippery staircase (laminate) and it worked great. Strongly recommend. I had a lot of trouble trying to pick which grip tape to buy so after reading (too) many reviews, I actually bought 2 different brands. This brand is definitely thicker making it feel more rubbery than the other brand while having similar clarity, so I ended up using this one. About the clarity of the tape: The material is clear but textured so it does have a slight white color. When the tape sticks, if there are bubbles underneath it will look more white. In my case, we put it down on very smooth flooring, so while you could notice the tape was there, I thought it looked fine and was clear enough. If you put this on something rougher, like unfinished wood, it's probably going to look less clear. Also in my case it looked a little better the next day, I think walking over it just pressed it down more. For stickyness it was about as sticky as I want. I don't think it will come off easily, but also if in a year from now I need to remove the tape, I won't be afraid it will peel of the finish on the floor. To test this I let the tape stay for a day on the floor and peeled it off. Not the most scientific test, but it made me comfortable using 2 rolls of this stuff on our staircases. I don't expect this would last a long time on an outdoor steps or rougher surfaces/unfinished wood, but I'm guessing that's where people are having issues with it coming off.

Excellent grip!
This grip tape is virtually invisible on my floor and has already saved my senior dog from likely injury! My senior lab has his share of age-related issues, including trouble with depth perception and balance, which is much worse when his feet are wet. He was slipping and falling a lot when coming in from the snow. I put strips of this tape on the floor and the 3 steps he has to navigate when he comes in, and he hasn't slipped once since. He went from not wanting to go out at all because of the slipping coming back in to begging to go out 10 times a day now that he has his confidence back. Excellent product!

Adhesive failed after 3 weeks!
Adhesive failed after 3 weeks. I followed directions and after 3 weeks some of the strips I put on my shower floor started to come up. When I check the strip, there was no adhesive on the tile or on the strip. More and more are coming loose.

I guess it works as it should
Installed in shower pan. Pan was completely dry and I used the rubber roller for good adhesion. I waited 2 days before using shower. The strips work great with regards to no slippage, but it looks like mold is forming under them :-(

Pleased with product!
The tape cut easily (we rounded the corners to prevent sharp corners from curling), covered the area needed (we put it on the front porch to prevent slipping on the wet surface) and because it was clear, it doesn't take away from the tile beneath it.

Excellent grip under the circumstances; Served as Temporary Fix
We needed something to help a loved one with neuropathy in the shower. His feet slid on the wet shower floor. (There is a shower chair in the shower and a suction cup grab bar.] As we rent our place, we cannot use something permanent or that will cause damage to the fiberglass shower floor or surround when installing or removing the item. We decided to give this grip tape a try even though the shower floor is uneven and we knew this product is not intended for use with uneven surfaces. With that understanding, we expected that we would have to replace the tape often but figured it could give us time to find a perhaps more permanent solution. The grip tape worked very well. Our loved one felt more confident in the shower because his feet did not slide. The tape has a good solid grip feel even when wet. The wider width worked well. We used three strips across the width of the surround. Because the shower surround floor has the raised anti-slip dots (don't know the technical term), we used a small scrub brush to apply pressure in small circular motions on top of the tape when first placing to try to help give it as much surface contact as possible. After the first couple of installs, we then extended the length so that the ends of the tape attached more securely to the smooth base of the shower surround a few inches above the floor. That definitely helped. We were pleased by how well the tape held its position. Of course, water still went underneath the tape because of the floor's uneven surface. As a result, the tape had to be replaced every few weeks. (Attached is a photo of the newly installed tape on the dry, freshly cleaned shower floor.) However, it provided much-needed assistance for more than six months until we could find something that hopefully will be more suitable with the uneven shower floor.

They work well!
I got these for my slippery stairs and for my older dog who has trouble with slipping and arthritis. I myself have slipped quite a few times on them a d finally went searching for a solutio. These come in a roll you can cut to length, the just peel and stick so they are very easy to install. They aren't the most visually appealing, at least on my floors, but they work and provide good grip so that's all I was worried about. My dog has no problem with the stairs now either up or down, and even I feel safer!

Great for use on Stairs.
Great product to increase traction and reduce slipping on wet wood. I applied these strips to my outdoor porch steps. The clear option doesnโt detract from the look of the stained wood. They work great.
