Does it work for incoming calls and FaceTime incoming calls

Yes. Press the button to answer or hang up. The sound quality for the person calling is not bad.

This mono earpiece complies with the Bluetooth standard so any device using industry protocols for Bluetooth should function. Any modern mobile phone supports Bluetooth. No additional software (app) is required

Can you pair to 2 phones at once?

Yes it’s sometimes tricky but you can once you get the feel of it

2 earbuds cannot pair together, and why not? what's the point in buying it then?

It's only meant for 1 ear. I bought it for work so it's hidden on camera.
