Philips myGarden Creek Outdoor Wall Light Black (Requires 1 x 60 W E27 Bulb)

Purchased the Creek Black wall light as shown in the advert picture. Electrician fitted light to front of house. Excellent light, gives off good light, looks great and works as it should.

This arrived on time and was easy to install as I was simply replacing an old lamp fitting by our front door. It is of good quality, and is great value for money. Looks more modern than our traditional 'lantern' type fitting. The connection to the house electrics is through a hole in the bottom of the back plate and is concealed from view by a small plastic cover, just be careful you don't lose the two very small screws that hold this in place - it is a bit fiddly. Fixing to the wall just required drilling two holes into the brickwork - no problem.

Good quality light fixing. Overall very pleased with the end result but it's worth mentioning that mine did not come with any wall plugs or masonry screws and the design assumes the power cable is coming through the wall directly behind the light. Fortunately because it is made from aluminium 10 minutes with a file is all it takes to modify the case to allow the power lead to come in from the side. Using with a Philips hue white bulb and it's looking the part and does the job. Because our's is installed under the eves of the property I can't comment on it's water proof properties.

Excellent lamp. A little tricky to install if the electrical cable is not embedded in the wall, since there are no prepared knockouts for you to run a cable through. In retrospect, I should have chipped out a little of the wall just at the point where I wanted to run the cable under the edge of back plate and sealed it afterwards.

An excellent outdoor light - good quality materials, really well thought out design, easy to install, easy to change the bulb when needed (not so often now with LED bulbs, of course, but all you do is remove two screws - one at the top the other at the bottom, and the whole lantern lifts of leaving the light fixed to the wall and bulb easily accessible), and best of all it looks lovely - a nice mixture of traditional but with modern lines. Considering how good it is I was surprised it's one of the cheaper "lantern" style lights.... altogether brilliant (and yes, the pun was intended)! :-)

Creek Base ! Cheap and Cheerful probably cost pennies to make ! Looks OK but if you put a smart bulb in it where the bottom half is coverd and the light is just from the top half of the bulb it looks pretty ridiculous to be fare ! Its so near the top the main view is just of the mount and half of the lower bulb so get a bulb like the one in the picture if you want it to look nice ! As for the connection, its simple but seriously compact so may take some force pushing the connected wires back in ! The Black Ali body is good ! The polycarbonate clear sheild I hope will last without hazing. The bulb mount is huge in relation to the overall design and would ba so much better being half the height inside ! Adequate but nothing to be proud of ! haha !

Looks great and functions well. I have this in my back garden to light u[ the lawn. Placed above fence panel height I didn't want to annoy the neighbours but it seems to shield well and light up my back garden. Quite easy to install but slightly tricky to get it straight because of the shape.

I wanted some lights that didn't take up too much room and these are just great. I already have a similar light in the same make and it has lasted really well. These are going across the back and side of my house and look perfect. The only negative was I tried to buy five and it would only let me buy four. There is a limit that is set. After calling to ask about this I was told that nothing could be done, which I thought a bit strange. I had to buy the last one from someone else. Good lights Highly recommended

Sieht echt edel aus, und die Qualität ist mehr als super für den Preis. Habe mir nach einiger Zeit noch welche gekauft, und kann die nur empfehlen.

Funciona bien,poco peso,fácil de montar,queda muy bien en mi balcón,lo volvería a comprar.
