Children's animated special from the popular Shaun the Sheep series directed by Jay Grace. Justin Fletcher voices Shaun, a mischievous sheep who regularly torments the farmer and his dog Bitzer (both voiced by John Sparkes). When the farmer and his dog set off to a country fair, Shaun stows away with them, sensing the opportunity for causing havoc. At the animal sale, Shaun spots three llamas who seem to have similar love of wacky pranks, and manages to influence the unwitting farmer into purchasing them. When the party returns to Mossy Bottom Farm, however, Shaun realises the llamas might not be the best barn-mates. Review: Five Stars 🌟 - Shaun the Sheep dvd, this film is fun to watch, especially the Llamas and the trouble they cause the farmer 😀would recommend for all the family. Five Stars. 👍 Review: Brilliant - This is Nick Park et al at their very best. Kids love it and how subtle can you get to make adults love it too. Brilliant stuff!

The Farmer's Llamas
Granddaughters (aged 4 and 7) were a little apprehensive about this as Shaun forgets his old friends for a while and becomes great friends with the llamas. However, the girls liked him once more when he rejoined his mates to rid the farm of the llamas. My husband and I loved it and also the little snippets you can access at the end. Don't forget to look at these as they are funny.

An absolutely hilarious short film
The Farmer's Llamas had me, my wife, our daughter and our small grandchildren shrieking with laughter. There is not only slapstick fun and a ridiculous story, but also more subtle humour and parodies of Yorkshire Dales life for the grown-ups. Thoroughly recommendable!

Good entertainment
Bough this for the grandkids to watch (well, that's my excuse!) since they kept asking to see it again following it having been shown on TV. It has certainly proved to be a success as it is now fairly regularly requested viewing whenever one of them is around.

Fun but not one of Shaun's best
Being a Shaun fan myself and as several Grandchildren were staying for the holidays, this seemed a good way to spend an hour especially if the weather wasn't too good. Unfortunately, the script seemed a bit weak, no one really took to the llamas and perhaps missing was the usual level of Shaun/Bitzer relationship. The best bits of the dvd were the Mossy Bottom shorts, all very short, but all very funny. All in all, it was ok, but certainly not the best of Shaun.
