Clay Play pottery wheel bat system with pre drilled pin holes and 5 square batt inserts. This system is designed to allow the potter to throw on a removable bat insert without removing the main body of the bat from the wheel head saving time and space. The main body bat has pre holes drilled making it easy and to slip on and off the wheel head and will hold the bat firmly to your wheel. ✔IMPROVE YOUR WORK EFFICIENCY: This system not only gives the potter the ability to not only produce multiple pieces in a shorter period of time but saves time on clean up and storage space in the studio. ✔EASY TO USE: The main body bat has pin holes pre drilled making it easy and to slip on and off wheel head pins. To use simply insert square insert into the main bat, throw a pot then wire before removing insert using a flat potter’s tool and placing onto a drying shelf. ✔POTTERY BAT SYSTEM INCLUDES; Main body bat is 12.2” fitting most standard wheel heads with pre drilled pin holes spaced 10" apart. 5 x square inserts 7x7” ✔SNUG FIT: Both pin holes and inserts are designed to be a sung fit and to firmly hold the bat to the wheel head to limited movement when throwing. If too tight for your preference the holes and inserts can easily be sized down with a nail file or sandpaper. ✔EASY CARE: When finished simply wipe bats with a damp sponge to clean. Store and dry bats and inserts stacked on their side. If the inserts swell, allow to dry completely before using again. If inserts warp, flattened by drying in a stack with heavy weight on them.
