Amazon Essentials Sterling Silver and 14k Yellow Gold Diamond Accent Freshwater Cultured Pearl Stud Earrings (7mm), (previously Amazon Collection)

I'm not really into pearls, but when wearing a dressy white top, I wanted something that would look elegant. Two comments made me hesitate: 1. Somebody said that they were forward heavy (so I thought that they'd be too large or saggy) 2. Several made statements that the backings were either small or insufficient for the earrings--in fact, a couple people said that they had lost or almost lost them due to this issue. I did not find either problem with the earrings that I received. Although a tad larger than I would have preferred, they still sit flush against my ear, and there is still room for tiny diamond studs in my second piercing. The posts are quite long, which surprised me. The backs are also larger than normal, giving sufficient stability. I was prepared to replace the backs with some large circle plastic backs, but I don't have to do so. The pearls are lovely and larger than I expected. The diamonds are very small, but I could see that they would be from the illustration. The raised sides are quite detailed and well created, giving the earrings beauty from all angles. In conclusion, they are exactly as advertised and I am quite pleased with the purchase.

I have to agree with the other reviewers that say the backs provided with the earrings are a very poor quality and fit. In fact, if it weren't for the fact that I have "extras" that I purchased years ago, I wouldn't keep the earrings at all, because I would lose them. Having said that, I really like the size of the earring and unlike another reviewer, my gold and silver were opposite and very complimentary while wearing. Also of note, the earrings are what I would consider front heavy, so they need a good stable back support.

I love these earrings....a touch of elegance, but wearable with everyday. The combination of pearl, diamond, gold and silver means they truly can go with anything. I have looked at so many pearl and diamond combination earrings, and there is no design as lovely as these. If the manufacturers made these with a bigger diamond, I would definitely buy them.

I love the way these looked on my girlfriend, but the gold tarnished very very quickly. Pearl also fell out of setting. For spending $70 on a pair of earrings, i would assume they would last longer. Did have them for about a year and a couple months, which is good but the gold tarnished within the first month or two and the pearl came out tonight. Found that it was very very flat on the bottom, with a hole drilled in it to sit it in, kind of looks like its not real.

These earring are really lovely. A bit smaller than I expected, but that is really okay with me as I am a petite person. The quality is very nice - much thicker gold and silver that I expected and the engraving on the sides is very well done. Overall, I love them.

She has everything but pearl earrings and necklace. With Valentines day around the corner and a pearl necklace on her birthday to match the pearl ring from San Fran made her Very Happy. The earrings are silver and gold with Diamond inlay to set off the pearl. 7mm pearl not to big and not to small just right. She looked Beautiful " Heads were turning "

These are lovely earrings. The pearls don't have the best luster, but they are pretty on and seem to be well made. I switched out the backs for rubber discs because they lay nicer on my ears with them, but I have to do that with most post backs. The diamonds are tiny, but white and fairly clear. Very classy piece of jewelry, especially considering the price.

The stoppers for the earrings are not usable. they are too large and fall off constantly - I found the posts very thin, even for all of the other stoppers I tried. I purchased rubber stoppers which do the trick. The earrings a very nice.

The earrings are lovely but both pairs, I had to replace the butterfly backs because they did not fit the posts. The backs were in the boxes but not on the earrings. I was disappointed with this. They were delivered as expected so that service was great as was the price.

Love the design quality of these arings. The only thing that l have a complaint about us one of the butterfly backings is larger than the other one. Just about lot one earing down the drain as the back is to big for the post

Love these. Great filigree work around the pearl. Look like earrings which would cost a lot more. So pleased with them. Pearls are blemish free and have good lustre. The diamond chip just adds that bit of extra sparkle to make them look so real. Almost have that regal effect with the diamond chip.

Purchased as a gift for my mother- she loved them and they looked great in person.
