How is it a kit if the glue is separate?

It's not in my opinion either but it is still a lot cheaper than paying a professional to do it.

will it fit a 1999 jeep cheokee

Kit Includes: (1) Roll - 54 " (W) x 108" (L) foam backed headliner fabricReally it fits anything, it's just a roll of fabric. You need to measure your headliner and see if it's within those dimensions, it likely is.

Easy install

Great product and easy to install. Was able to match the old fabric color exactly. Made my 91 xj look a whole lot better and saved $200 from a professional install

Do prep work before replacing

Highly recommend that before placing on replacement headliner, also replace the cushion between the surface and the headliner otherwise your replacement headliner will display the dents and curves of the old cushion; which looks tacky.
