I had read an article, Iodine FAQ, which in part states: "In Japan, many people take upwards of 50 mg of iodine a day from their diet rich in kelp...Many forward looking natural health experts state that we should follow the dosage levels of Japan rather than of America." I DO NOT believe Americans get sufficient iodine to balance the hormonal needs of a female body. I started taking iodine supplements in 2014 after years of suffering with increasingly severe Mittelschmerz syndrome, along with more typical female pains. It took a few months of slowly increasing then decreasing the dose to find the right amount. I used a different niacin-free supplement for a few years, but it had selenium and 15 mg of B2. Looking for iodine supplements with nothing else, I came across this Relentless Improvement company product. It is considerably less expensive than another brand which is also only iodine. I take two daily because one was not enough to stop the breast tenderness from coming back. May they stay in business a thousand years and continue the quality standards I appreciate.

If you are reading this and looking into iodine then you are most likely interested in improving your health which is fabulous as prevention as they say is 98% of the cure. Unfortunately 98% of us are iodine deficient. Now with the health “experts” telling us we need to avoid salt where are we supposed to acquire the iodine we need. So like vitamin D3 which I write about in my book The Optimal Dose we are becoming sicker and sicker due to the deficiency of these and other nutrients though iodine and vitamin D3 are the most common ones we are deficient in and important ones. I started taking these iodine tablets a few months ago and noticed soon after more energy which is one of the main reasons I started them. That and that I have chronic pain. No it has not cured my chronic pain but it is better and as I see it with my pain any bit that helps. In first taking them in the morning the first day I slept all day. So I took them at night which soon caused me to not be able to sleep! Weird, but I have gone back to taking them in the morning with no issues. One thing to realize is that by taking this much iodine it will flush the bromide out of your system. That is good. It is bad in that initially you may feel worse before you feel better and that was perhaps why I had the issues with sleep I did initially? So why is your body full of bromide? Well bromide is in all types of materials as it is a fire retardant and thus our environments are full of it! Bromide depletes iodine! One of the brilliant things they have done recently is take iodine out of manufactured bread and replace it with bromide. Probably a big reason for all the issues we are seeing from iodine deficiency. So let’s see the health “experts “are recommending we avoid the sun and salt? So no vitamin D3 and no iodine! No wonder we are becoming sicker. Though I have gone off topic a bit it is critical we reclaim both our physical and mental health. With these iodine pills you are taking a step toward that! I have been a long time Iodoral user and it is a very good product. However, when the price continued to increase it became too expensive for my pockets. So I tried Relentless Improvement Iodine Supplement for a more reasonable price. I have used for two months now and can say it seems every way comparable to the Iodoral supplement but is much more cost effective. It is easy to swallow and I have not noticed any changes or adverse effects in my energy levels. I use an iodine supplement for hypothyroidism and overall health. I would recommend trying this product.

I discovered this product when alternatives were presented to the more expensive product I've been taking for a few years. I've been taking this particular brand for a few months now and it works just as well as the more expensive alternative I was taking. I was curious to see how the change of brand would affect my blood test results when I had my annual physical exam. Everything went flawlessly. I first purchased this product awhile back when my Iodoral supply ran out; this is a reorder. My healthcare provider was initially doubtful when I told her I'd switched, but now is supportive-- thyroid is still functioning well, months after the change, and I'm saving money. This is a great product, I was using Iodoral before trying this out. The pill size is a little bigger but not by much, no taste, super easy to swallow small pills and a much better price.
