great pens!
One of the pens arrived dried out but the seller replaced it so quickly. great response! I LOVE THESE PENS! they fill in larger areas with a delicious black. fine enough tip to get a little round the details too. highly recommend for comic inking.

Not waterproof
Nice nib and good to use but disappointing that it’s not waterproof!😕

Genuine
Genuine pen. Good quality large brush. Fairly delicate nib.

Great marker
Great marker, I bought 2 so far after using the first one. It's really good quality, and it doesn't easily bleed through the paper. The lines are clear and there are no bits poking from the tip to make them have the scrapey ink bits like a thinner version of this marker has done for me.

It's the pen that's big, not the brushstrokes
I bought this to compliment the rest of my Faber-Castell pens, thinking that 'Big Brush' would produce bigger brushstrokes than the other brush pens in the PITT range. The barrel and nib are significantly bigger than either 'Brush' or 'Soft Brush', however the thickest line possible is produced by Soft Brush and the thinnest line possible is also produced by Soft Brush. Big Brush produces lines somewhere between Brush and Soft Brush and the nib has a firm flexibility similar to Brush. So it seems that the 'big' part of Big Brush refers more to the chunky barrel and nib rather than the size of line produced. Of the 3, I enjoy using Brush the most - it's easiest to control and I like the relatively firm flexibility of the nib. Soft Brush is my second favourite, and I can't really think of a use for the chunky Big Brush. Also, the description says the ink is water-resistant but I disagree - after leaving the ink to dry for about 36 hours I brushed a damp water brush over it and it dissolved very quickly and without any apparent resistance.

The product description is a bit inaccurate - this is an artists' brush pen, not a standard marker. It's a joy to use - the colour dries consistent and is a lovely dark black, and the edges are fairly smooth. Haven't tried it on anything but paper yet.

Nice
Nice quality black pen. A bit firmer than I expected for a brush pen but you can change thickness with pressure. It also seems to be resistant to bleeding and going through thin paper like I’ve found with using sharpies and cheap paint pens.

A great pen for the price
I love the amazing possibilities this pen offers, once you've got the hang of its large brush strokes you're on the way to master pieces! (It at least I hope so!). A great entry level art pen.
