AutoIT Scripting for Beginners

Its a good book within its limits. Carefully describes one project done in AutoIT, but its not a comprehensive guide to AutoIT. Still worth reading.

Excellent book for beginners.Cover a lot of basic programming techniques, with many small examples which are explained very well.

Moves along at a good pace tracing the steps up to the end; an example opening the calculator to do a short calculation. I now know autoIT will run Windows automation quite well.

No GUI info but it is a great intro to AutoIT. Good starting point for those new to scripting in Windows

this not an essential book but if you need learn this great tool in 24 hours or less, this is your book!

This book is a lifesaver! AutoIt Scripting for Beginners is a great beginner’s guide and will help you to understand and discover how to use the program easily and quickly. Before starting with AutoIt, I had no idea what scripting was or even the fondest idea of how to do it. But when a new project came up at work, I needed to figure it out, and fast. After looking around online for a little, I decided to learn from an expert and came across this guide, AutoIt Scripting for Beginners. All I can say is that this book has been a HUGE lifesaver! It’s easy to understand and is packed full of great advice and useful content that you can start applying right away. Overall I give this book a 5 star review and just want to say thank you to Rajan, the author, for making something such a helpful resource. I would definitely recommend this book to anybody who wants to master AutoIt. In fact, if I had to pick what my favorite thing about using this book has been, it’s that you don’t need any prior experience or background programming knowledge to use it. Thanks again for an awesome book!

Great book for beginners, worth every cent. Recommended for beginners!

This is an excellent, comprehensive, much needed book. The material is clearly presented with relevant examples. It never leaves my desk when I am coding AutoIt. It suffers desperately from the lack of an index.I would also like to see sections on file reading/writing and internet web page reading but help for these is available online.

O livro é legal até, mas muito do que tem no livro você consegue no próprio help file ou no site. Não me arrependi pelo preço e usei bastante o autoit

Sprachliche und inhaltliche Fehler (etwa Verwendung einer nicht deklarierten Variablen) mindern allerdings den Erkenntniszuwachs nicht!Zu AutoIT: Ermöglicht den Zugriff auf Windows-Widgets, ansonsten ähnlich aber nicht so mächtig wie Bash.
