'Inspiring Stories for Brilliant Boys,' was one of my favorite reads this year! This book is jam-packed with 10 different short stories that will have the young man in your life on the edge of his seat with the turn of each page. From an unlikely post apocalyptic friendship to a deep sea discovery, this book has something for everyone. What I liked most about this book was how each chapter unveils a new life lesson. We all know that raising young men can be hard especially in these trying times. This book makes teaching those tough life lessons a lot easier. In Chapter One, Danny teaches us the importance of friendship through hardship with an AI speaking dog he meets by the name of Max. In Chapter Two, Eli learns about the consequences of procrastination and the importance of asking for help while preparing for the annual go-kart race. Adam learned in Chapter Three that lying has some undesirable consequences. In Chapter Four, two lonely only children find comfort in friendship. Chapter Five shows us the power of bravery in a tale of a boy and his grandpa on a great space adventure. In Chapter Six, a boy named Jake learns how to be grateful after discovering the sacrifices it took for his single mother to be able to buy him a birthday present; even though it wasn't what he wanted. Chapter Seven we learn the importance of speaking up and standing up to bullys even if we are scared. Harry is nervous about going to a new school in Chapter Eight, but he is able to make friends by being himself. In Chapter Nine, Riley learns that it's okay no not be okay and that we all get sad sometimes. Lastly in Chapter Ten, Theo and his family discover the greatest gift of all-empathy. This book was absolutely phenomenal. I can't wait to see what other books this author has to offer. We will definitely be keeping an anxious eye out for more!

My 9 year old grandson and I read the first story together. When I asked if he would like to take the book home and read the rest of the book by himself he smiles and said yes! I like for him to read and this book encourages just that.

I bought this book for my little cousin, and he loves it. I have read through it myself and I love that it's easy for kids to dive head first into these imaginary stories and made up places and scenarios. This is a great story book for kids who love reading and who will grow into fantasy lovers! My only issue, which is not truly an issue, is I wish there was more art throughout and that the art that is there was in color, this would really push the book over the edge.

I gave this book to my friend's son who loves to read. He loved the idea of a dog being able talk through AI technology and the idea of the endless technological possibilities and different life forms in the future was very fascinating. It’s said that a dog is a man's best friend and the confidence the dog in the story instills in the boy when he is scared is very heartwarming. The fact that each chapter was a different story that taught some sort of life lesson I found to be very inspirational and makes this book an easy and interesting read. Whether it’s realizing family can come in all forms, teamwork, to be creative, to always be honest and gracious, to be brave when you’re scared, to appreciate what you have, and so many much more makes this a great book for young boys and all children in general. There are so many valuable lessons to be learned in this book. These stories are so relatable I think for not only young children, but adults as well who might be able to relate to them in their own life and share with their children. I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting some extra inspiration or just a feel-good book.

Poor quality for the price. Errors in punctuation and grammar that makes me reluctant to give to a young reader. This is the second time I have bought a book on Amazon and been disappointed.
