Good Soundbar for new tv
I was looking for a new soundbar to go with my new tv and this JBL Bar does a good job. Nice deep base, plug and play with an hdmi cord. Makes movies sound really good. The renewed unit was like new and well packaged.

Good Soundbar Overall With Great Sound Quality
Just to let everyone know, I am someone who has low vision. The ease of setup for this soundbar was amazing. Getting it put together and updating the firmware was a breeze. I like the amount of control you have over the sound from the app. I'm used to my Polk Audio MagniFi Max's sound projection from the front, so I wasn't ready for the spacial audio that this one has. The subwoofer is pretty good too. Issues that I have with it (minimal annoyances) is that even though I can set it up with Google Home for casting, I can't add it to a speaker group. The other is that I can't use the optical option while having the HDMI Arc plugged in. I'm pretty sure there's a workaround for it, but it's not that big of a deal to me.

Great value, performance and features.
I had a mediocre Phillips soundbar/subwoofer for years, but struggled with audio/dialog being muddled and weak bass. The JBL Bar500 took it to a whole new level with crystal clear dialog, excellent cinema sound enhancements, and truly tunable bass levels. I purchased a renewed unit, came in the original box/packaging and looked unused -- for about 1/2 the price. Truly a satisfying product and purchase experience. Highly recommended.

Refurbished but absolutely like new condition
Refurbished but came in completely new packaging indicating that it was factory reconditioned and everything worked fine after connections were made. Definitely worth the cost savings over brand new.
