4 Piece Standard Telescope Eyepiece 1.25" Inch Set - 4 x Eye Pieces Lens 4mm, 6mm, 12mm and 20mm

I was given an older beginner's telescope which lacked an eyepiece. Living in Southern France, I could not find an eyepiece to fit this on the French internet that didn't cost as much as the value of the telescope itself. So I was delighted to find these 4 eyepieces that cost a lot less than any single one I had previously found, and that the company was prepared to deliver to France. The eyepieces arrived very quickly and fitted the scope and I have been delighted with them given their amazingly cheap price. They are more than adequate for the quality of my telescope and work well. Those with more expensive professional scopes would probably prefer to buy the higher quality items that this company also sells, but for me they work fine and I have the option of different magnifications at a great price. I Was even more pleased that they came with the LED white/red lamp headset which has proved very useful not only for night viewing but for climbing about in the loft and working/ reading in poor light conditions. I thoroughly recommend these items and the company.

I bought this mostly for the head torch that comes with the eyepieces. This has proved very useful. I don't use it strapped around my head, as suggested, but it is good to have a small red light to hand that doesn't ruin the eye's dark adaption when observing. It also has a brighter white light, which could be useful for using the torch for other tasks - in the loft, under the stairs, fiddly craft work, looking at coins, stamps, etc. Re. the eyepieces themselves, the set is good for obtaining four eyepieces across a broad range of focal lengths (and hence magnifications), and incredibly cheaply too. However, it is important to realise that these are very much bottom-of-the-range eyepieces. For me, they were let down by their small field of view - like looking down a tunnel compared with more expensive, wider-angle eyepieces. Good starter set though to add to the one or two eyepieces that come with your telescope if funds are limited.

Decent, good value set of lenses

Good set of lens. Some how in the fullness of time my set of lenses to fit a Tasco telescope which must have been 20 years old which had been stored away. I gave the scope to my grandson only to find he could not use it without the range of lenses. The set I purchased fitted great which was a worry I had. Came in containers for protection and I was very pleased with the price. Highly recommended seller.

These work well enough if you are starting out or like me, managed to get a very cheap telescope without any eyepieces. The 4mm and 6mm are not very useful as your eye lashes have to touch the lens to see anything but they do work.

My Granddaughter is inclinded to misplace things so I did not want to spend too much on the telescope lens I left with her as I normaly pay around £30 - £80 each for them. I was not expecting too much when I paid far less for four than I normally pay for a single lens. Much to my surprise the quality was not just good it was excellent, they were individually packaged in strong plastic cases, much more dependable than the normal cardboard box. My Granddaughter is very pleased, they need little refocusing when moving from the wide angle 20mm to the much stronger 4mm. Her main use for the lens is watching the moon and she is delighted with the image qaulity. Deliverey was fast, ontime and well packaged. She uses a Sky-Watcher Startravel 120 and a Celestrol Travel Scope 60 and they work well on both of these.

I'll start by saying my rating is based on value, not purely quality. The lenses are decent enough but not as good as others I've tried. However, when you realise you've paid £6 per eyepiece it seems impossible. These are great for anyone that wants to experiment with different size eyepieces without the risk of wasting a lot of money. Anyone just starting out with a telescope should buy these as a matter of course.

produit bonne qualité mais reçu sans la lampe frontale LED livraison rapide. utilisation facile résulta très bon je recommande ses produit pour débuter les observation.

J'ai constaté qu'il n'y avait pas la lampe led dans mon colis comme indiqué lors de l'achat des oculaires beaucoup de personnes on constaté la même chose.
