Skulduggery Pleasant Complete Set Books 1-9 (Skulduggery Pleasant, Box Set)

Five star for delivery, five stars for the entirety of the series I was listening to these on audiobook and was loving it so I bought this box set to have a physical copy. I think there are two or three more books in the series plus a novella that I have not read yet but plan to. Depending on your child and their age, reading level and what you would or would not allow them to read (I say this because there are some parents, and I know a couple, that won’t let their kids watch Scooby Doo or SpongeBob, which is stupid) this is a great series for ages 10+ It is a very unique read with lots of magic, action and comedy.

This is the UK version, versus the US one. The US version is more expensive by almost $20. The US cover art is also so disappointing compared to this set—we thought these look totally bad a$$ and love how the characters are displayed on the cover and side binding. The series is recommended for age 14+, but my 3rd grader loves these books! I’ve found the vocabulary to be challenging for him and there are many funny parts to keep pace with the nonstop action—it’s awesome to keep readers motivated.

Skullduggery Pleasant is a detective for the magical world that lives secretly right among us. NOT a Harry Potter knock-off. I guarantee after you begin reading the first one, you'll want to read them all. Although aimed at teenagers, people of any age will enjoy these books. Look up Skullduggery Pleasant on line. There are many fan websites, fan clubs, and so on. Why haven't you heard of Skullduggery Pleasant before? Because he's from Ireland!

I've loved Skulduggery Pleasant since they came out (I was ten). The librarys in my area only have the first three or so and I've read them probably 20 some times each. Now, on my 23 birthday I finally bought myself this set and I'm soooo excited. These are by far some of the best books I've ever read. Dark and full of wit, the world in them is so easy to slip into in a way that makes you never want to return...

The books look great, with the exception of Nye's face on book five.... These books aren't very floppy, leaving the spines are easy to break, so if you care too much about that maybe go for something else. However, for such a low price, these books are fantastic, and they look awesome on the shelf. Seriously, they're so pretty.

Everything was good the only downfall is when i opened up the box to get the books the books box was falling apart a bit BUT that was fine I just cut it up and used the picture parts as little posters ☺️

came exactly as pictured and in perfect condition. i love the covers and the book is floppy but not too floppy (have to still be careful with the spine)

Bought this set for our daughter after she had read Volume 1 and loved it so much. The set arrived next day - excellent value and in perfect condition.
