I bought this for a baby shower. It's cute, and I think the baby will really like it. As it will surely be the same size as her, haha. For $15 it's a real good value. More like a preemie, than newborn.

I got this doll for my niece, so I consider this doll my "great-niece". My niece is mixed and has brown eyes, and I wanted a doll that reflected that. She just turned 1, so the doll was the perfect size with a soft body that will allow her to sleep with her if she wants to. I think it is great that there are black dolls out there. I think this doll is great, but I think you need a third doll with darker skin. It is important to have dolls that reflect the diversity of the population, which is most obvious in skin tone.

My Grandbaby is so pleased with her very first Cabbage Patch doll. And so am I. That familiar smell is what brought it full circle for me. Being a child of the 70s Cabbage Patch dolls became very popular in my early teenage years.I had a boy and girl, and she too will graduate to a full size doll once she grows up. I also love the small birth certificate.
