Good clamps if you know how to use them
These are great for the price. I just reordered some more. The biggest downside is needing a 9/32 socket instead of a standard hose clamp size. Fortunately I have an adapter to fit any size socket onto my drill. The other bummer is that the screw will back out of the clamp if you are trying to loosen it unless you apply enough pressure to the screw. Which is the opposite of common sense, why would you push against something you are trying to move the other direction? But that is the fix for people who from some other reviews I can tell couldn't figure this out. I am using these to fasten fencing to T-posts because the pigs have been able to force the regular fence ties up or break them. So far these have held up well and that is way beyond what they are designed to do. I can get better hose clamps for this purpose but not at this price point.

Good hose clamps
Bought these to replace the ones on the heat shields on my Harley, they worked great for that. Hope they don’t rust up!

Not good for critical applications
These hose clamps are cheaply priced and cheaply made. They're good for non-critical applications where low price is more important than robust reliability.

So far, so good!
I love hose clamps. I use them to clamp together items with irregular or dissimilar shapes. I used these clamps to clamp together the supporting poles of the pet barrier in the back of my wife's SUV. Without the clamps, the horizontal rods had a tendency to slide down the vertical rods, resulting in a opportunity for Fido to move forward in the car. Now that they're clamped in place, the problem is eliminated and Fido is safely eschonched in the rear cargo area. But back to the clamps: these clamps were strong enough to allow for sufficient torque to ensure there will be no loosening or slippage. I would buy again if/when I need them for another project.
