BIC Chrome Platinum Double Edge Razor Blades for Safety Razors, Pack of 10

I've used so many brands and have been using proper razor blades for years, I read these were supposed to be really sharp and so surely sharp means smooth? It does for me anyway. Super good value for money, durable and last a few shaves, mega sharp and glide over the skin obviously fit the handle I have fine 👍🏻. Will now continue to buy Bic blades. For people struggling or not getting great results/snagging or cuts. It's not just the blade you need a really good handle/razor I used a few then bought one silver, blue box, branded, SO much better, not just that the type of cream too. With those things right and these nice sharp blades you'll have a easy, no red, no bump shave 👌🏻🙌🏻 Using proper blades like this cured my shave rash

Wow, the sharpest blades I've perched yet. They go dull quickly but that's expected when this sharp.

Not the very best in my experience (that's Wilkinson sword, imo) but does the job with minimal to no damage, and if a small box works out for you, you can get a hundred of these at the time it writing for just over a tenner. If you can afford or bulk buy Wilkinson I'd recommend them over these, but in my experience these are at least an acceptable substitute and I might bulk buy a batch myself

Works

Buy these often. They fit well into my razor and are very sharp. They don’t last more than one or two shaves as they go a bit blunt. Come individually wrapped.

I tried these BIC Chrome Platinum double edge blades as a budget-friendly option and they’re alright for the price, but they weren’t as comfortable as some other blades I’ve used. They’re sharp enough to get the job done, but I did notice a bit more tugging and irritation, especially on the second shave. ✅ Pros • Affordable and easy to find • Sharp enough for a close shave • Individually wrapped and easy to load • Works fine for quick, basic shaves ❌ Cons • Can feel a bit harsh, especially on sensitive skin • Not the smoothest glide compared to other DE blades • Dulls quicker than expected (performance drops after 1–2 shaves) Overall, they’ll do the job if you want something cheap and functional, but I wouldn’t choose them as my go-to for a comfortable daily shave.

I recently purchased the BIC Chrome Platinum Double Edge Safety Razor and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The stainless steel blades provide a smooth and close shave, leaving my skin feeling fresh and irritation-free. I love that they are disposable, which makes maintenance a breeze. The pack of 10 offers great value, ensuring I have plenty of blades on hand. This razor has quickly become my go-to for shaving, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and high-quality shaving experience!

My safety razer came with 100s of "stainless" steel blades that go blunt after a few days of use. These chrome steel ones last months! Amazing. If anything could be improved, it's that they are several microns bigger than the ones that come with my safety razer and so I tend to get too close a shave until they settle in!
