Hard shell

It’s been several months since I bought this for my girlfriend. It was easy to install with a great fit, good value for a nice looking design. It has held up well over time and still looks good and has done its job in protecting her MacBook. The colours are still vibrant.

This is being used on a laptop being carried for work every day, so has taken a bit of a beating. Have had to buy another one of these after 12-18mths as they eventually crack, or the stuck on rubber feet come unstuck or get rubbed off when carried in a laptop case/bag. Good news is they do protect the laptop, look decent for at least a year of daily abuse and are inexpensive so not a major problem when having to be replaced. Its a good fit, gives access to all ports on the laptop. have had comments from others asking if it was made by Apple and saying how nice it looks. Would and guess i will buy again.

I bought this cover for a new and very shiny MacBook Air. I am very pleased with the cover, as it preserves the looks of the computer, but it has started to scratch visibly. This is probably quite normal, but the computer does not as shiny as it once did. The cover itself fits very well and is well made. It is very likely that any transparent plastic cover would scratch in the same way, so I am not changing the cover for the time being. And at least the computer is not scratched.

This has saved my laptop from many. The colour looks very nice and does the job brilliantly. One of the corners has cracked but my laptop is intact. Good purchase.

This is a great protector as cracked but no damage or issues on my laptop but brought a new one to maintain, very long lasting as I accidently dropped mine. Easy to put on, take of and clean. Clear colour and very strong hold as clicks in. True to size.

The corner of the plastic thats for the lid of the laptop is made incorrectly so whilst one side clicks into place the other doesn't at all. I've even tried forcing it into place and it won't budge because the plastic on that side is too thick and just rests on top of the laptop lid. Which is so frustrating because the actual case itself is perfect. Its lightweight, and completely sheer. Even the way it was packaged was great at protecting it from any smudges or marks. Honestly so disappointing that this happened. I dont know if its just mine or something but I wanted to warn others of this happening to theirs. Buy at your own risk.

This case damaged my MacBook and caused it to dent. Amazon are not helping, I’ve ordered these before for family and friends and I’ve never had a problem till now. It seems as though the quality has gone downhill resulting in cosmestic damage to the upper hand right corner of my mac. I bought this in October, it wasn’t till I went to remove it for cleaning that I realised the hard plastic round the edges damaged my not even 1 year old computer! It’s going to cost me £456.44 to fix. Absolutely fuming. Amazon should be ashamed.
